It would need to reach 143.5p on Tuesday. The review is on Wednesday. As you say paulisi we will have to wait until next quarterly review

Price has dropped on TASE today, so any hopes of breaking into FTSE 250 May have to wait another quarter.

Telegraph article today suggestions 20s rapid tests have been developed and are under scrutiny over accuracy.

A rather amateur analysis Spelling CEOs name as svi can be forgiven.Rather simplistic view of covid testing saying may eventually peter out. Firstly the point about rapid large scale testing is that it is the public health best response to covid and any other similar high risk pathogen. Testing market is enormous and BATM is offering rapid testing to differentiate viral respiratory illness from bacterial infection. That will be the way forward in managing respiratory infections in the community. Then looking at the telecom side the company is looking at multiple targets, and not overexposed to one company like they were with Nokia in the past.

Why on earth compare APPLES gross margin to BATM?! Most if not all of BATM sales came from hardware sales, software sales are to come big-time, and then only then we shall see a big jump in gross margin, and why not mention the probable split into 2 or 3 companies for added value to shareholders.

Interesting article, but doesn't seem to have the depth of knowledge the long term holders have.Yes - there was a tech bubble last time, but BATM has many more strings to its bow and potential for growth in multiple areas, even if technology or R&D allows the respective markets to be competitive.NFV as pointed out is the growth area. There are two revenue streams, adding software to new chips and seeking software and to existing appliances. They already have 2 of the big players with another 4 likely. Add to that Intel and Arm may jump on board at some stage. The margins will increase rapidly as the costs of adding software must be very low and this should generate higher cash flow, which may allow a bigger and more consistent dividend. The market is huge and there will be better knowledge once we understand sales and value of any of these new contracts.

It will be interesting to see if it rises on the TASE on Sunday. For it to get promoted to the FTSE 250 it needs an 8-10p rise on Tuesday. Promotions are reviewed and decided on 2nd September.

I'm invested in a multi Diagnostic and IT company - there is a difference.I have invested in covid testing companies such as novacyt, but got out very quickly. As I said, I would much prefer to invest in companies with diversified revenues stream and not short term gains.

You're invested in a diagnostics company and "not particularly interested in the covid market" give me strength! You should be all over the covid market and know it back to front.

This is BATMs moment to ramp-up, grab Covid-19 by the balls and give them a good squeeze.

Large demand at present is an understatement, the demand is bigger than all the "massive competition" can supply. Diagnostics companies are making 100s millions now and really helping to fight the infection. Think what your dividend would be like if BATM had the same approach. Or perhaps we could spend the money on a stake in ARM like FSE suggested?

You are right, the Abbott tests are not particularly accurate. But if you were interested in the covid market you'd know the advise to governments now is to test, test, test and get results in minutes instead of days. Originally in March BATM announced the test would take 3-4 months to come to market. I suspect the launch has been put back to Q4 because they were improving the sensitivity and specificity. So I am expecting another gold-standard test from BATM. But unfortunately I'm also expecting the manufacturing capacity to be low.

I, like any other sane investor, would prefer to see a test that isn't very accurate that sells in the 100s of millions rather than a gold-standard test that sells in the thousands.
