I'm not particularly interested in the covid market - there is large demand at present, but this will drop in 18 months.Everyone is trying to cash in. It is very short term and there is massive competition. That article hints these rapid tests aren't very accurate, so I suspect very few countries will give approval.BATM has multiple revenue streams and seem to be specialists in multiple limited markets in both telecoms and medical, hence why there are a better long term position than most biotec companies.

Paulisi "The Covid news is peanuts compared to this." referring to the NFV announcement. For BATM, you are absolutely right as we have only sold approx. 1 mill tests since the pandemic started.

But please don't underestimate the covid market. Take a look at this $750mill deal ( ) for Abbott rapid covid tests. These Abbott tests are similar to the tests being developed by BATM and Novamed.

Wizz "do you honestly believe that ZVI would be happy with 250k tests per month? the answer is NO! Just think of INDIA...nm." - are you pals with Zvi or found any info that I'm not aware of? My intel from Proactive Investor interviews, internet searches etc is that the capacity is 250k per month. Although Zvi did state that BATM would be looking into ramping up.

We have been developing these rapid covid tests since March and they are due for approval and launch in Q4. I really hope manufacturing capacity has been ramped up so we can produce millions of these things per month. Covid news will only be peanuts compared to NFV if BATM let it. The demand from governments for these tests to open up schools, universities, businesses, airports, cruises etc is astronomical.

The group believes that the potential market for NFVTime is substantial. This new tier 1 customer alone serves enterprise and wholesale customers, including hundreds of operators, in more than 160 countries and 3,000 cities across North and South America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

I was thinking that other large companies with operating systems may be interested in acquiring Telco systems to add to their portfolio....

What about BATM taking over ARM like they did with telco systems back in the 90,s. Make a deal with SoftBank investors and the UK government.

SoftBank need to raise some cash but appear as reluctant sellers. BATM plus backing could make a play for 51% of the company. ARM stays independent with Telco in the driving seat. SoftBank would retain a large interest which after 5 years they would double their money. This would be a very smart move by SoftBank and ARM

With fracas over 5G and Huawei to keep control over 5G architecture. This an enticing possibility

Further review in proactive site won't let me post link
Analysts at house broker Shore Capital said they believe that the contract “represents the emergence of a material, soon to be live, reference customer/site for the group”.

“Furthermore, this demonstrates the leadership that BATM has been striving for with its NFV solution, the market is a materially large one for these virtualisation services with the ecosystem stretching into the many tens of billions of dollars of value, in our view.”

“We wait with interest on further news on BATM’s emerging pipeline with customers for NFV services. Potential is high, the need is great. We expect to see the pipeline build steadily, with an initial focus on further Tier 1 providers, and be accompanied by further announcements from BATM in due course, out into FY2021”, the analysts added.

NFVTime is part of SOCS architecture and runs On Intel and ARM platforms so whilst it’s getting a lot of buzz from the ARM initiative there are considerable other revenue avenues for them.
For many service providers this an essential systems upgrade ahead of 5G
The rumoured ARM sale by SoftBank to nvidia is by no means certain. Not impossible but unlikely. Irrespective It’s impact on Telco systems should be minimal.
It would be interesting to know what’s bundled with this. Cyber security is an obvious thought.

I haven't heard such a bullish statement from a CEO in a long time. He could probably be done for misleading the market if he fails to deliver.
