amt ... You forgot to mention .... he sold ALL the GOLD ... at the lowest price possible - why .... to clear the debt. Yet buy the time Labour left office - the debt was massively up again .... but there was no gold. Great business sense !

It's always seem strange to me that Gorden Brown is now remembered as the saviour of the country during the Financial crisis. Forgetting to remember that under his long tenure as Chancellor public expenditure went up like there was no tomorrow. The City of London was racking up bad loans and was not regulated properly. After the crash when he was PM Alistair Darling wasChancellor and was the one who saved the country. Anyway Gordens idea of changing the slogan to test test test sounds daft to me. Can you imagine everyone wanting to be tested, no Gorden it's got to he carefully targeted testing and results got back very rapidly and anyone positive isolated.

Goldfield Telecom and Telco Systems Partner on E-Rate Network Upgrade Projects
First joint project combines education connectivity with video surveillance initiative at school district in Kentucky

MANSFIELD, MA, May 19, 2020 – Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN/NFV, CE 2.0, MPLS and IP solutions, and Goldfield Telecom, a leading nationwide distributor and integrator of telecommunications networking equipment, today announced that the companies are partnering on E-Rate network upgrade projects across the United States.

Goldfield Telecom will leverage Telco Systems’ E-Rate networking solution to pursue E-Rate funded projects and will focus on upgrading school district and campus Ethernet network capacities from 1Gbps to 10Gbps and 100Gbps. This upgraded infrastructure promotes connected education while also supporting school security and video surveillance initiatives.

Telco Systems’ best-in-suite E-Rate solution is based on a broad portfolio of aggregation and demarcation platforms with end-to-end MPLS support. The company’s T-Marc product line is optimized for campus Ethernet service applications utilizing “any port, any role” to support multiple services and maximize deployment flexibility.

Goldfield Telecom and Telco Systems have recently completed a joint E-Rate project that combines education connectivity with video surveillance at a school district in Kentucky. For this project, Goldfield Telecom built a network that allows video surveillance control at the headquarters of the Morgan County School Board. The Morgan County schools then deployed over 650 cameras and other surveillance equipment across the buildings and campuses of nine schools across the county.

“Telco Systems is an ideal partner for these valuable E-Rate projects due to the high quality of the company’s product portfolio and expert professional services teams,” said Troy Seaba, Vice President at Goldfield Telecom. “With Telco Systems’ carrier-grade solutions, we are able to deliver both improved connectivity for school districts and enhanced security for students and staff.”

To support the high bandwidth and load requirements of the video signals and connected education programs, Goldfield Telecom upgraded the Morgan Country school district’s Ethernet network to a 10Gbps single transport network with carrier-grade resiliency. The video signals are now backhauled over the Ethernet network using Telco Systems’ T-Marc 3348 demarcation devices and aggregated with the company’s T-Metro 8001 Cloud gateway platform.

“We are proud to be advancing connected education with network expansions and upgrades, here in the United States and around the world,” stated John Ryan, Vice President of Sales and General Manager for North America at Telco Systems. “We are committed to working with our local partners and delivering our solution for E-Rate projects that help millions of students improve their education and increase their security while pursuing it.”

He seems well connected in Italy, so this would be the likely first target. We are talking millions of sales per country. Event with a licensing agreement,This could generate millions in revenue and profit.

I would imagine that Zvi is seeking WHO certification for his tests, or even national certification from governments. Would anyone care to take a guess at where the share price may be if he gains approval.

And the thing about testing if you have sars-cov-2 is that it is on-going, it is not a one-off. If I fly to France I may need a test before I go for the flight and for the French authorities. When I plan to come back, I could have caught it in France, so I need a test for the return journey and for UK authorities. And you clearly need a rapid result. If this is how countries are going to go. So if this test has good enough sensitivity and specificity, then it will be sought after. But then how many can be produced, and at what cost …

There is limited value in a test result you get back after 2-5 days - the longer the time-frame, the less value it is.

Yes the price is especially low with batm if I remember from a few months ago which might go in their favour as governments are squeezed for cash now sprat to catch a mackerel

The rapid home test kit is where the money is. I suspect there will be a race to be first to market with government approval.BATM seem to be a couple of months away, but then scalability is the issue.I can see these in every airport, school, business if the price is right.

Just been reading the avacta thread apparently gordon brown's been voicing his opinion today on tv that the governments slogan needs to be get tested not stay alert and every house hold should have a test kit before next winter not a fan of his it has to be said but what would that do to the share price here I know batms not uk approved yet but will other governments follow suit if ours does go down that route and batm are marketing there test as a rapid home test too could be massive just thinking out loud any opinions welcome good or bad lol

I think today i've secured a corona virus "bounce back loan" from Lloyds for my house building business so don't need to sell BATM shares. I'll get confirmation tomorrow. First decent service Lloyds has provided for years. 12 months interest free then 2.5%

FSE is correct it is all about design, patent and licence agreements for third parties to manufacture. For instance Flex Medical will produce 100k of ventilators this year all under brand names. They manufacture for Phillips for example.

great summary FSE. Their value is in their Intellectual Property and until recently that has been undervalued. That is the point Zvi has been making at the recent AGMs and that fact is now being appreciated!

amt.... problem here is that we are not looking at the company the same way.
Loads of companies are making Covid19 tests PCR and otherwise... its a set of reagents heres the recipe now get on with it. Zvi Marom already mentioned people were over hyping Covid19 ... I think Zombies was the word used.

The Covid19 tests are important to BATM as they show just what they can achieve. The main business is in selling an infectious diseases set of solutions. The kit and solutions they provide could have offered a very different approach than we took.

If Nursing homes had for example a NatLab reader on site for Coronavirus and OTHER infectious diseases quarantine measures could have been rapidly implemented. This would be immediate containment. This did not happen and thats something that needs to change.

BATM offer a complete range of solutions to deal with present and future infectious diseases. They are doing this with solutions that are fast and "in situ".

Celitron make agricultural size shredders and sterilizers and by product management that obviate the issues of cross contamination by processing in situ, avoiding the risks in transporting and reducing risks.

They also make units for hospitals, nursing homes and clinics.
They make units for airports.
Also apparently they can make ventilators for dealing with future Coronavirus virus that all have had lower respiratory outcomes.

Adaltis, Ador Diagnostics design and make reagents and readers and all manner of tests for a huge bank of infectious diseases. They are not large scale manufacturers that is done by third parties under license. Their tests could have different names on them and be manufactured in different countries.

Its the same story with Telco systems that design products that are manufactured elsewhere. They are embedded at the very core/architecture of new SOCS with the likes of NFVTime and ARM. The NFVTime suite is tailored to different requirements and can have cyber security features. Remember ARM have invested in co operative ventures with Telco systems, which means they take them seriously.
These are all products that you never see. You wont see Telco systems or ARM mobile phones any time soon.

So if you are looking for a Covid19 test stamped BATM with Dr Marom's Photo on it made in Israel then I cant help you.
