Good luck to you Bob in your future investments.

Cant confirm this but I believe the issue on testing or lack of it for BATM , is due to the shortage of key reagent compounds which is what labs generally are complaining about. I have heard that they are trying to synthesize certain re agents but not sure whose initiative that is or if it is successful.

Israel has expressed severe frustration with the lack of tests being carried out as they do not want to bust their economy by keeping healthy people from work and disrupting supply and the ability for the country to recover.

Thats why these tests are going to be so essential. Hopefully we will hear specifically where the supply block is and when it will be sorted .........

The kit provides results in under one hour on COVID-19 and other variants of coronavirus using real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction). The initial customers are European, with delivery to Italy being the main focus.

My take on covid-19 & BATM:
1. We are mass-producing test kits for very little to no profit. However, this is great PR for us and gets a foot in the door to highlight what else we can do.
2. One of the other things we do is Natlab for which we raised 30 mill for marketing etc ( 2nd half of the investment due at end 2020). Covid-19 has done all the promotion for us so more investment can be made in production of the machines. I see big orders coming in very soon.
3. The covid-19 test kit with novamed could be a big seller and I have a feeling a big boy might join the companies for mass-production worldwide.

Your thoughts please?

>rt..... this covid19 outbreak that has forced people to work from home (when possible) has come at a time of great concern for our planet. The satellite images showing drop in Pollution over major centres has been one bright spot as traffic is curtailed. We may bounce back from this OK but I suspect this virus has changed the way we see the world and it may not be all bad.
Thanks for reminding us whats happening with the other half of this company.

And the above confirms they have an unapproved product with zero sales in what is now an even more competitive market. The shill accounts on here are enough to ring alarm bells - 'baz' commenting on 'great research' and yet his has a twitter account dedicated to ramping BATM? You'd have thought he'd already knows the BS which BATM spouts on a regular basis.

also add hxxp://www.novamed.co.il/ “We chose to partner with Novamed thanks to their many years of experience in developing excellent at-home diagnostic products. We believe that the combination of the capabilities of BATM and Novamed will result in a uniquely effective solution to address the current pandemic as well as other outbreaks in the future.”

>tratante.... absolutely good point.
Here are a couple of links for a week end read

Heres a link to the travellers panel initiative which gives insight into what the game plan is...

And then there is Celitron also working from the preventative end in the spreading of unwanted infectious disease.
"Celitron develops and manufactures biological infectious waste treatment solutions for medical, pharmaceutical and the agriculture industry and steam sterilizers, autoclaves for infection control and decontamination procedures in dental offices, clinics and hospitals."

Indeed FSE, It's also important to appreciate that the Adaltis kits which are now shipping to medical labs is different to Ador's NATlab system. Some people seem to lump them together.

There appears to be a misunderstanding as to what BATM, Adaltis and Ador Diagnostics are actually doing and what their business model is.
They are streamlining the PCR process to allow what had to be sent away to a lab to process, to be done on site with a bench top analyzer.

This ties in with their original objectives of forming a returning travellers initiative so authorities can test on site for the most common infectious diseases.

Covid19 came along literally years after they initiated this approach. As the detection of the virus is in the same interest field they are already working in they are doing what they can and they do have a working kit on the ground. Baz actually linked a label with February 2020 manufacture date. They have already made it clear they did not intend to make money off this outbreak so those "in space" that invested on the hype of big bucks from Covid kits will be and are currently disappointed.

BATM and subsidiaries including the Agricultural waste division are working on solutions for tackling infectious diseases. They are hardly alone and this is a very large new market which they are well positioned to take a market share. They are not trying to pull the wool over investors eyes to pump up their share price with inaccurate information. They would gain no advantage from such a tactic in fact it would damage their credibility.

What this has done is to pull focus on what the company does and accelerate the interest in these products and solutions.

Hi FSE, thanks for the natlab info. In early jan the first natlab sale was announced but it won’t be delivered until the 2nd half of this year. Do you have any idea why the lead time is so long? Is it a manufacturing issue? Am wondering how many natlab can be produced in a short timespan?

>iceman..... NatLab was originally certified for Meningitis testing. Other tests were expected to be certified for use in Europe at the time of the first sales announcement. There was a delay to get other infectious disease tests added which would explain some of the original wait. As they were testing for SARS and MERS it was then a matter of adding Covid19 to the list. I am not sure how quickly Covid19 was added to this list or what part it played in 2nd half of the year delivery.

They have been using the units for testing in Italy for 2 weeks to maybe a month ? Due to the outbreak demands the company referenced they were producing what they could but were in discussions to manufacture in larger numbers. I do not know what the current state of production is .... be nice to know I agree.

Iceman, as usual BATM wasn't completely honest back in January. They received an order from a 'leading distributor' - i.e. not a customer, but a company saying if they manage to sell it, they'll ask for units. This links in with a more recent statement that they're 'shipping units to Italy for sale' - which isn't what it sounds like because the distributor is an Italian company!
And the reason there is a wait until the end of the year is because it's only just entering final trials - as I mentioned earlier the unit has not even received regulatory approval and that is by no means guaranteed.
After spending quite some time researching the company, there's a pattern of them releasing carefully worded statements which are factually correct, but not what they seem. They can't hide from their financial results though.

I am on the GOV.UK distribution list for coronavirus updates. 2 minutes ago the government has issued a form to be completed by any company who can provide testing kits. Its a simple form name, contact details etc. Hopefully BATM sees the form and sends it off pronto. If they want the form I can send it to who ever needs it
