Wonder if IC Simon Thompson will have anything to say about the medical announcement. They "Ador" actually appear to be ahead of schedule here. This is very much new age medicine and must need advanced analytical equations. The synergies are starting to become clearer...... ergo

For weekend consideration might be to look at recent ground breaking inventions that have hit the news and appear to be the result of the use of quantum mathematical solutions empowering their usage. This is something that BATM have referred to on numerous occasions when talking about the future direction of the company to help empower this new environment.
The two examples are the Heliogen breakthrough in focussing solar connector mirrors to achieve meaningful heat/energy collection. The second is the announcement by the Israeli Military that they now have working Laser anti missile capability. Both of these breakthroughs appear to be aligned with the adoption of quantum mathematical solutions allowing precision alignment not previously possible.

Remember BATM is now included in the TASE indexes so will be an element in tracker funds. FWIW.

Announcement is making the rounds. Marom also referenced an upcoming medical conference in February which they are attending which should really get the word around.

Probably time investors started recognizing the potential value of the company's IP. share price is oversold.
I would keep an eye on the cyber solutions side of BATM business which is also in an area of high demand.
Shares rose nearly 7% on TASE with the announcement.

Interesting that at the AGM the CEO was asked where he saw the greatest growth in the business in the long term and this was the division where he anticipated the greatest growth. If the diagnosis of meningitis could be made so quickly imagine the number of lives that would be saved-and that is in the NHS alone-let alone Italy!

Molecular diagnostics subsidiary receives order for meningitis testing

BATM (LSE: BVC; TASE: BVC), a leading provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems, announces that Ador Diagnostics ("Ador"), the Group's subsidiary focused on the development and marketing of unique in-vitro molecular diagnostics solutions, has received its first commercial order from the leading Italian distributor of molecular biology and genomics products. Under the agreement, Ador will deliver the new NATlab reader and cartridges for the identification of meningitis in the second half of 2020.

Ador's NATlab molecular biology solution provides rapid sample-to-answer diagnosis of bacterial, viral or fungal infections, within approximately 15-90 minutes, using DNA sampling. The unique system is modular, compact and mobile, and is designed to be used at the point-of-care as well as in hospital labs. The Group believes that NATlab will allow medical practitioners to provide far quicker and more efficient treatment.

This first commercial order for the new system follows extensive lab testing and the award of over 40 global patents, including in Europe and the US, with more pending. The first models of NATlab are expected to go into final trials in leading hospitals in the first half of this year, with the initial system having been already delivered this month.

Dr Zvi Marom, Chief Executive Officer of BATM, said: "We are delighted that Ador has received the first commercial order for the NATlab system, which is an important milestone. Meningitis is a leading infectious cause of childhood death - and speed of identification and treatment is vital. car1pet the share price between TASE and LSE amounts to the same. The interesting thing is that TASE opens ahead of London and the locals drove it up 4.5% ahead of London opening. LSE will determine the markets to a much lesser extent post Brexit I am noticing that happening already. It was positive to see Israeli investors start buying... they know a good deal !!!!

Happy New Year all. Difficult year ahead with a recession thats been looming for some time now and does explain "some" of the recent weakness. Tech stock always get impacted ahead of any general set back. In any event the value of BATM IP is not reflected in the current share price, we are further down the road to seeing meaningful revenue from the new technologies.
