car1pet you make some valid points. BATM/Telco systems have been thus far in research and development mode albeit they do sell sufficient product themselves into the market to justify their existence and advance the value of their IP.
This honestly is the impressive part.

Whats less certain is when they see these efforts seriously impact the bottom line. "If" they transition to a more active sales platform then I would agree I would like to see some marketing and sales guys with plenty of clout in the frame.
Its uncertain what their business model is going forwards. Their future is in collecting royalties and developing their IP as opposed to making the stuff and selling it themselves in any large volume.
Why put yourself at risk of production and end client marketing issues when the likes of NXP will get your product out there under their badge.

A lot of the problems we have here in terms of setting a valuation and eventual share price is that some people are expecting big contracts to arrive and sales to surge valuing the company on sales. If you look at this way then the share price is high enough.

I am in the camp that whilst I would like to see them sell sufficient product to stay afloat and develop their solutions. I also look at the value of their IP. From that perspective I feel they are considerably undervalued and should be up in the 65p range.

The direction of technology makes what BATM do essential. The area that they are in is what Israel excel in.

At the moment the market doesn't see the future. Maybe things will change but when you 've held shares as long as I have cynicism overules. I keep saying the same thing Marom is not the right man to run this company as a business. By all means keep him on in a research role but get a commercial person to drive it forward. The share price would leap if they appointed a well known respected person who has a successful track record in running a tech business.

No wonder the Directors have been buying. The ARM relationship could be transformational.

Out of development and into the market place.

NFVTime for Arm
Plug-And-Play Open uCPE Suite For Arm
Arm-based uCPE white boxes are now available for NFVTime, adding significant value for NFV services. NFVTime utilizes the unique capabilities provided by the Arm architecture to offer higher performance, better security and a more flexible and cost-effective solution.

Backed by a strong strategic partnership with Arm and its SoC partners, NFVTime’s broad VNF and white box ecosystem continues to expand, supporting SD-WAN, vRouter, vSecurity and any other VNF's on Arm white boxes.

Might be worth listening to this interview again.

Telco and ARM are supplying NXP with Telco NFV solutions embedded into ARM architecture, this will commence sales some time before the end of this year 2019.
NXP have a market cap of some 30bn.

After a muted attempt to rise after the directors bought it seemes to be heading south again. The market is the reality.

Carpet1 It's not just a 600k order but 14 million in orders now. There is a huge growth opportunity with Arm.
I doubled my holding this morning.

I'm unhappy by its continual fall, but happy to hold as I have done for many years.

Ironically on the news the share price rose in TelAviv on TASE.
Could always be a large holder wanting to sell some ahead of a possible recession and BREXIT chaos and currency concerns. They are very undervalued on the basis of the value of their IP and attractive to UK resident buyers less so to overseas investors but still this price more than factors in any concerns. Selling is overdone IMO.

The announcement today is actually very relevant to the groups plans.....
Telco systems NFVTime suite will have cyber security bundled into it.
They are working very actively with ARM and this is another step forwards, another milestone.
I cant explain the weakness in the share price against all this very positive news although the share price fell almost 4% this morning with insignificant volume.
I have also not heard about any acquisition plans but would not rule that speculation out. They raised money recently so..... ?

"Dr Zvi Marom, Chief Executive Officer of BATM, said: "These enhancements to our T-Sense solution to make it compatible with Arm architecture will allow our customers to leverage access to all major IT infrastructures and expands our addressable market. Alongside our work with Arm under our strategic partnership for the NFV market, we are now able to offer a comprehensive solution for Arm-based platforms that can provide cyber security to virtual networks.

I saw a RNS this morning and looked - its a reference to a £600k order!! We need a lot more than a £600k order. I'm amazed they even bothered to issue an RNS for such a small order. It suggests to me that they are struggling to get new orders

car1pet agree its frustrating but the company have delivered a lot more than just future promise. They are at the forefront of major disruptive technology plays.
Zvi is an influential and well respected CEO who has a major interest in the company to protect. They are hardly sitting on their ..........?

ca1pet - you are right. I have only been involved with it for about 18 months - during which time it has done quite well price-wise - although a bit volatile of late. I am however excited by its prospects in the medium term, and happy to hold for a good while longer.

Zebra you must be new to this company, I have been waiting 10 years for this share to fulfil all the positive views about products and IP. If it was a university research dept it would get full marks but as a commercial business it is hopeless. I've been saying it for years it needs new leadership to drive it forward and realise the commercial benefits of the technology it appears to have.

Also this is not just about mobile phones although mobile OS will also be what you see with most devices and used across a much wider range of business uses.
