07/11/2017 15:41 | I remember The Crypt slagging off BVC a few years back and gloating he sold BVC at around 15p and bought into SULA. Not sure that turned out too well. Hes only just popped up on this board again. | phda
07/11/2017 14:44 | I have been invested or following BVC for over 10 years and must confess The Crypt has made me smile before, it can be annoying when you see there are 3 new posts on the thread and they all relate to cheese and eggs not BVC. I agree cumnor there is something going on, this share looked like it was going nowhere then about a day and a half after the government cyber security contract RNS announced on the 17th oct relentless buying started and looks like its only just paused for breath. | ![]() quemaster
07/11/2017 14:15 | Quemaster, bless him-he's been a lost cause for decades. Nice to get a snippet or two of news to help bolster recent gains before a bit of profit taking creeps in-although most on here are either long term holders like me or IIs. Can't just be all based on sentiment surely? Must be something on the way? | ![]() cumnor

MANSFIELD, Massachusetts and TAIPEI, Taiwan, November 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN/NFV, CE 2.0, MPLS and IP solutions, together with the Network & Communication Solutions Business Group of NEXCOM International (TWSE: 8234), a leader in IPC, network communication and security industries, today jointly announced that the two companies are collaborating to offer the first service-ready uCPE solutions based on both Arm and Intel Denverton architectures. As part of the collaboration between the two companies, Telco Systems and NEXCOM are introducing the first service-ready Arm-based uCPE and Intel Denverton C3000 uCPE solutions consisting of Telco Systems' NFVTime software and NEXCOM's DNA 1160 and NSA 3640 white box appliances. These new uCPE solutions introduce higher performance, security and deployment flexibility based on the unique NFVTime software and NXP and Denverton hardware platform capabilities. NFVTime includes an NFVi-OS and an uCPE manager that provides management and orchestration (MANO). By transparently supporting both Arm and Intel x86 architectures, NFVTime allows service providers to select the appropriate technology mix to support different use cases and business requirements without the need to change deployment or operational processes. NEXCOM's DNA 1160 white box appliance features the Intel Atom® processor C3000 product family and integrates multi-core computing performance, hardware acceleration in virtualization, crypto and compression workloads. NEXCOM's NSA 3640 white box appliances uses NXP's QorIQ LS2085A/LS2088A eight Arm® Cortex®- A57/ A72 cores communications processor, including NXP's second generation data path acceleration architecture (DPAA2). "We are experiencing strong demand for NFVTime, which is being driven its unique capability to enable a service provider to launch NFV services within weeks using our uCPE solution," said Raanan Tzemach, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Telco Systems. "Our collaboration with NEXCOM, Intel and NXP introduces new innovative solutions that address the market need for a wider selection of uCPE options and the need for better performance-to-cost that are key for the business success of our customers." "Network communication and services are gradually becoming integral parts within the telecom industry with many operators shifting their focus to network services. NFV, which allows agile and flexible service delivery and facilitates the management of increasingly complex service strategies, is seen as an ideal solution for telecom carriers to easily allocate hardware resources for service upgrade, expansion and termination," said Hadwin Liu, Chief Architect of the Network & Communication Solutions Business Group at NEXCOM. "We are excited to join forces with Telco Systems, a leading vendor of uCPE innovation, to assist customers in reaching their NFV objectives, showcased by the high performance demonstrated using Telco Systems' NFVTime run on NEXCOM DNA1160 white boxes." Telco Systems and NEXCOM will be presenting these uCPE solutions at the upcoming MEF17 event in Orlando, Florida on November 13-16 at Telco Systems' booth - #607. | ![]() fse

01/11/2017 20:38 | Mid 30's with whats on the table at the moment would seem more realistic. These really have been trashed out so at the moment all we are doing is moving up to FMV. The big caveat here is that investors do not look at this as a new company or new venture even, so they will value it off turnover and sales unless perceptions change. Thats going to keep the lid on things IMO until they report some robust revenue increases. I rate them a BUY up to 28p and then a hold .... still I have maintained for a long time that the market is not looking at the company correctly and allowing very little for potential. | ![]() fse

31/10/2017 22:03 | Could we just stick to issues relevant to BATM. That is why I read the board.....to learn and improve my knowledge of a company. Sweenoid is an excellent example of what I mean on the IqE board. Bigbear on the iii board regarding RTHM. I put up my summary after attending the AGM to help others who were unable to attend. I am pleased to say the share price has risen since and hope the company can continue to develop its businesses to all our benefit | ![]() gerihatrick

27/10/2017 21:35 | A large contract would be nice "but" ...... From what I can see these sales are going to just start dribbling in as they are designed to augment networks not really replace them as such. A totally new from scratch project would see more of the old contract type of sale, thats why those projects in developing countries are more likely to deliver in this area. | ![]() fse
26/10/2017 19:26 | just need that big contract announcement on the Telco side and then all areas of the business will be growing. Listening to Zvi on one of his TV interviews, it sounds like sooner rather than later. | ![]() paulisi
26/10/2017 17:23 | Thanks FSE This again highlights that Telco Systems are covering the main architectures with Intel and ARM to maximize future sales and growth. "This advanced solution meets a market demand for high performance". "The solution is ready for deployment and is operational". "Intel is expected to announce soon that the uCPE, based on Denverton Atom C3000, is commercially available". All good news for the share price...... | ![]() reeltime
26/10/2017 17:11 | Here's the link. Few graphics etc. Added..... The point here is that this is done and dusted so to speak and ready to ship. "The new solution was developed in collaboration with Intel, based on Telco Systems’ NFVTime-OS and Nexcom’s hardware. The solution is ready for deployment and is operational. Intel is expected to announce soon that the uCPE, based on Denverton Atom C3000, is commercially available."
