Doubled up. The fact that we are at a five year high, and barely troubled by last week's market turbulence, suggests to me that something is stirring in the BAT cave!

Vigilant link working again, maybe they "are" still around. There are a lot of companies with Vigilant in the name. In any event the website is back up and BATM still show the company on their website. We have no idea what their sales or prospects are as BATM never comment about them.

"Revenue" Brucie, they purportedly have the kit and are selling into an increasingly accepted disruptive technology market. In profit with modest revenue growth and decent forward looking statements will move them higher. IMO

Well Vigilant must have had a client list and be worth something to someone. The ability of CCTV to look for and single out possible errant behaviour is nevertheless something that BATM software arm may well have been able to do. Other than that I am not really sure why they are involved with this side of the business. They (BATM Telco) have plenty if not too much on their plate at the moment.

A quick look on companies house shows they have dissolved or are in process of dissolving the company. It may be they have moved ownership to another company? maybe Israel?

The last time I checked on Vigilant they hadn't won a contract of any note since August 2015, like you I can't remember when they were last spoken about in the results.

Anyone know what happened to Vigilant. We never hear a thing about them and now the link does not work. Wondering if its still even in operation ... any ideas

HaHa Brucie and yes we remember those days well. 10 baggers common enough back in the day. BATM Telco actually have much more on the table now than they did back then when the price surged. Nice to buy something at these levels where there is substantially more substance. ;-)

Project contract valued at $4m and represents company’s fourth major government organization customer

MANSFIELD, MA, January 22, 2018 — Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative SDN/NFV, CE 2.0, MPLS and IP solutions, today announced that the company has been awarded a significant follow-on contract to supply a cybersecurity communications solution to a national defense agency customer.

Telco Systems won this follow-on project for the ability of its cybersecurity technology to efficiently detect and investigate suspicious network activity and secure sensitive communications networks.

This follow-on project represents Telco Systems’ fourth major customer in the government sector.

Telco Systems reports that the company is experiencing increasing demand from its solutions across numerous market segments, including the company’s cybersecurity solution from government organizations, Carrier Ethernet solutions from network operators and NFV solutions from telcos and managed service providers.

“We are proud that this national defense agency customer has extended its relationship with us and see it as an expression of trust and confidence in our company’s ability to deliver the benefits of our innovative technologies,” stated Ariel Efrati, CEO at Telco Systems. “At the same time, we have strong expectations for continued growth across numerous market segments for both our cybersecurity and communications networking offerings.”

So a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 68.3 percent is predicted. We have the equipment and partnerships in place to propel the Telco/Security side of the business to run on Intel and Arm architectures. As has been highlighted and discussed we now more than ever need to see some real progress along with an improvement in the bottom line and some very positive forward looking statements when the results are published......

It is NFV time, uCPE market to grow 68% CAGR in coming years
January 16, 2018 Raanan Tzemach

A recent report by research company IDC indicates that the global market for virtual customer-premises equipment (vCPE) infrastructure will exceed $3 billion by 2022.

The report, entitled “Worldwide viper/uCPE Forecast, 2017–2021: NFV at the Network Edge” forecasts that the virtual CPE software market will grow from $145.7 million in 2016 to $2 billion in 2021 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 68.3 percent.

At the same time, the market for virtual CPE hardware will increase from $67.8 million in 2016 to $1.16 billion in 2021 at a CAGR of 76.4%.

At Telco Systems, we believe that the growth of the market will be driven by two major trends:

Managed network services provided by communication service providers (CSP) and over the top managed service providers (MSP)
SD-WAN (software-defined wide-area network)

The value of uCPE, as perceived by the market, is the ability to introduce NFV services in short time-to-market, innovative business offering and invest in as-you-grow-deployment models. The pace of uCPE market adoption and the value to service providers relies on:

True open and multi-vendor solution based on a pure play NFVi-OS (network functions virtualization infrastructure operating system) solutions that fulfil the promise of NF (network functions) and hardware decoupling
Availability of cost-effective end-to-end solutions that allow introducing and experimenting the business value of NFV services without significant pre-investment
Right VNF (virtual network function) business models

Telco Systems offers true open, plug and play uCPE solutions that allow service providers to deploy NFV services in short time-to-market supporting all leading SD-WAN, security and other network services in multi-vendor VNF service.

The NFVTime operating system turns any Intel x86 Or ARM based commercial off the shelf white box into a carrier class uCPE.

IDC said that the most significant driver of NFV at the network edge – virtual CPE – over the next five years will be digital transformation (DX) in which enterprises deploy 3rd Platform technologies. This includes cloud, big data and analytics, mobility, and social business.

IDC concluded that there is a broader acceptance, and adoption, of software-defined networking (SDN) throughout the enterprise. As virtualization, cloud management, and SDN continue to gain traction throughout enterprise networks, virtual CPE will benefit from this paradigm shift and receive increasing consideration. It also helps that virtual CPE also promises enterprises a strong return on investment (ROI).

One of the compelling reasons for investors to take BATM Telco seriously is its bank of technology staff. Israel leads the world in a lot of fields and BATM have never cut back on their R&D. By all accounts they have the wherewithal to make a serious impact on the Telco and cybersecurity scene.
As cumnor highlights above its all about being recognized as a serious player. The company are very well aware of this thats why they constantly update us as to technical breakthroughs as well as attending numerous trade shows throughout the year.
In the end they are either on the right track or not, the wait in finding out now has ended... will the trickle of interest become something more major.
Frustrating climate for investors !

Thanks FSE-you understand this company a damn sight better than I do. My impression is BVC is starting to gain increasing traction in the security arena-an area where there seems to be demand and threats-and hopefully it will hit a threshold where it moves into a different league in terms of industry wide recognition and demand and mrkt caap starts to reflect this as it starts to be recognized as a serious player. Hopefully the medical is ticking along nicely as before and this part alone could be worth a fair bit alone.

BATM Telco really ought to get up to the 500ml cap range. One of the issues with Telco systems is that its not really large enough to win stand alone contracts.
The company has made huge strides in the development of its products and now is entering into partnerships with other suppliers. Thats all to be commended.
The path that Telco systems has gone down is from identifying the changing environment for Telco providers and offer new solutions paired with security features. Its new tech which is just starting to get adopted and Telecoms are notorious for delays.

The share price has risen its true but it was at trashed levels to start with. The company has identified achievable income going forwards and there have been contract wins to support that scenario. The sum of the pieces of the company is worth more than the valuation. Problem has been a string of results that indicated progress BUT sales are not yet at the levels to really propel the share price to a different level.

I am cautiously optimistic but we need to see the sales revenue in the bottom line.
The cyber security business is providing new sales and thats another area to keep close tabs on. It could be a game changer for them. All IMO

This one really takes the biscuit for excitement-lets hope Zvi can one day announce a major tie up with google or US military or whatever (as long as its positive) to capapult this thing into the 500ml cap where it should be-or that he has sold the medical division to Pfizer for 200ml. We live in hope.

There was I believe a 600,000 share trade yesterday looked like a sell but it was snapped up again so to speak.... Investors who bought into this a few months back are sitting un unrealized profits so expect some tree shaking and selling along the way. Trend appears positive .......
We will get end of year indicators in March.
Also we have heard absolutely nought regarding the medical division. Its been like it never existed !!!!! all the news has been Telco.
