Zvi said in the presentation that it has always been his strategy to partner up with big companies, citing a few examples including Nokia. This is continuing and he hinted that there could be something similar happening soon.

Wizz nothing to do with "market forces" whatever you mean by that. its about having a coherent business strategy. This company has no strategy apart from researching and going to market in a half baked fashion. Its not a big company and yet its very hard to understand its future direction. A few years ago it was mainly in telco and then moved into medical. Why? because Marom is interested in medical stuff. That is not how well run businesses work. They now have some decent products so time to focus on selling and growing the business. I'm holding shares in the belief that it will be taken over. As it stands the company will continue to drift. Shares were marked down at the start of the day opened at 51p and closed very slightly higher. Weird.... probably balancing from TASE which was weak all day on fairly high volumes.

Cisco products may not all run on ARM hierarchy UCPE, Telco systems have only just started to gain revenue from Edgility NFV licensing they have nevertheless been selling enabled white box hardware + solutions.
I am not sure whether Telco still have a lead on the ability to incorporate Intel and ARM seamlessly but not aware of any specific competition. Its not hard to see why ARM snapped at the bit as they would be trying to sell to clients who already have Intel product ergo in spite of the efficiencies they are not going to want to ditch Intel products already in use.
ARM were never in this network theatre of operations but entered in earnest a couple of years back and are now generally thought of as having the superior system. Telco are, as a choice, embedded in ARM SOCS architecture.
Maybe someone who listened to the podcast can throw some light on this.

Picsous, yep and they seemed to suggest that’s partly due to the chip shortage. I’m guessing that BATM has the advantage because they do so much in software whereas the Cisco solution is more hardware intensive.

unctuous, another interesting piece of info was them announcing that they are getting some orders for networking kits that Cisco cannot supply as they don't have the tech. How amazing is that for the reputation of BATM!

Picsous - yes, that to me was the highlight of the meeting. Dwell on that a while and the implications are huge given the way the business usually builds up slowly - must be a telecom contract to rival biomed in its inaugural year.

The presentation notes forecast the Bio-Medical division to continue to be the largest contributor to Group revenue in 2022, but during the meeting Zvi mentioned upcoming news for Edgility that might change that.
