Can I remind you all that when ZVI didnt like the way BATM was trading on TASE he pulled out only to re-enter years later on his terms...

I personally would not want them to delist from the LSE, this would mean that the ISA holding I have built up over many years would be removed and the shares would have to be held in a trading account, removing the tax free advantage of the ISA. I don't have additional funds to hold in a trading account, so would then need to take the money from my ISA.......which I won't do, given it has taken me so long to accumulate. I know I have posted this before, but just to clarify if a share is no longer listed on the UK LSE it cannot be held in an ISA, it can if dual listing is continued. Therefore a move to the NASDAQ would certainly see me reluctantly sell, so I am happy that Zvi is looking to keep LSE listing.

Agree, FSE. Not sure why they are even going 'cap in hand like' and contemplating a further extension. They either get included in the indices or they start a Nasdaq listing process and tell the LSE to FO. The UK market has, like many other companies, done BATM no favors. Though UK based I also hold shares on the Nasdaq through my HL SIPP and trading them is no different to doing it here in London, with the advantage you can trade up to 9PM UK time.

Uncertainty in the market killer- but it can always be corrected with one good telco contract

>unctuous..... Yes you are correct. Investors are always 'baying" for dividends but honestly its much better for a company like this to retain the profits for expansion or takeovers or in share buy backs if you really are flush with cash.
I figured they would split Telco out which is an American company based out of Foxborough Mass and list it on Nasdaq. I am pretty certain this has already been discussed by the company.
So we are left with a hugely undervalued company drifting in a sea of confusion.
Its not going to effect company business but WTF

FSE - that (NASDAQ) is fine as long as the buy-back program is instead of dividends. If they persist with the dividend, then that’s 30% withholding - possibly on top of IWT.

BATM are not delisted and whilst I do not know the situation for UK investors I hold shares in a TFSA (Tax free savings account) in Canada. From what I can see it will not have any effect for UK Investors holding them in similar plans.
It does and will clearly remove them from certain Index tracking funds which has triggered selling.
At the end of the day though this is not a satisfactory outcome, it has sewn confusion and it will prompt a large rethink for the way and where the shares are listed.
As you know I am no fan of the company brokers and IMO they should dump them and move to NASDAQ and maintain a listing on TASE.

I have a very similar valuation for BATM on sum of the parts I came up with 170p and ST with 160P. Trading range ought to be in the 120p to 160p range. If they post some really good 2021 year end figures then there will be an even larger disconnect.
Clearly the share price is no where near that. I made the calculation the other day that if they were on NASDAQ and valued in line with NASDAQ general valuations the share price would be more than double what it is currently.

The problem investors have had for BATM over the years is that the share price simply does not reflect the value of the company. When they were in the largely R&D stage with so many products it was not so glaring an issue. Now they have developed the IP and are starting to sell into the market growth in sales is also not being recognized.
Maybe they get an extension but why jump through hoops for something that does not suit them. The company is hugely undervalued by the UK market maybe time to move to NADSDAQ. Hardly a panacea but tidier.

Added comment. I agree with the share buy back and it does help mitigate the situation. I would rather they do that than issue dividends in the first place or just spend it expanding the company. I agree with comments that BATM management know the company is undervalued and they have to do something about it.

The buyback is superb, thank you Zvi.

The dividend is a disaster for non-Israeli tax-payers. But that’s why the buyback is so important. It demonstrates a commitment to the LSE. If BATM intended to retreat to TASE they wouldn’t bother - dividends would do the trick for Israeli tax-payers. It also shows massive availability of liquidity and the clearest possible indication that management knows the shares are undervalued. Incidentally, I proposed a buy-back at the expense of dividends to a clearly surprised Zvi at the 2020 AGM. You’re welcome.

So a few index tracker funds won't hold these shares and the company value falls 10% overnight, and this on a valuation that seems to me to be severely reduced on where it should be. It cannot be said that the market currently serves as a good indicator of where this company is heading. I think that once we have further clarity with the next results and perhaps some forward looking statements there will be more reasons for non-tracker funds, and other investors, to put their money here. The market then will reflect the company's value a bit more accurately.
As for the share buy-back I also feel that this may be better than a dividend as the value should be reflected in an appreciation of the share price without the tax complexities associated with a straight dividend.

I'm surprised BVC hasn't sought a nasdaq listing.

Closed to index tracker funds, plus that divi is is a token and that's before the pain of dealing with paperwork for the IS with-holding tax, hardly worth the bother, considering the damage this listing debacle has caused it would've been better to delist from TASE, set up a proxy head office in UK and focus on the larger UK market. Spectacular PLC listing mismanagement by the company afaic.

The one person with the most to lose and gain out of thus company is Zvi. So I am happy to give him the benefit of time. He hasn't done a bad job so far and I think the future looks bright. Unless of course you are only looking to trade this share short term and get spooked by these moves. Holder and buyer for 20 years last sale in 2001.

That may clarify the FTSE position but for me does nothing to clarify, justify, explain or reassure regarding the statement:

"puzzled by this decision as we have been in regular dialogue with them and had certain indications that it would be granted"

I hope searching questions will be asked by those with greater influence than me.

Surely a shadow has been cast over the statements of positive commercial expectations that I have interpreted from recent interviews?
