FSE The Roche test has been approved by the EU The US Food and Drug Administration. Furthermore by the UK as in the news today. Please show me a link to show me where the Adaltis approval has been given, which countries, which authorities.
There are numerous links to the Roche test.

The Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 serology test was approved at the beginning of May by the EU and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It has a 99.8% specificity and 100% sensitivity, and is designed to be used on blood samples taken by a healthcare professional at least 14 days after a person has developed Covid-19.

OK amt if you are not confused could you explain to us the difference between the Roche Test and the Adaltis one seeing as you know how it works.
The Adaltis test IS CERTIFIED and is being sold FFS and has a reliability rating same as Roche.

I don't know what the share price is going to do from here on forwards and neither do you.
Numerous companies will introduce tests but its a huge market.
No one blames you for selling out a profit but after you sold to claim that the BATM Adaltis is not accepted is rather spurious.

Tonight the ADVFN detail shows a 3:1 bias towards sells. I assume that for every sell there is a buy otherwise how can there be trade. Towards the end of the day all the trades were buys. Can anyone enlighten me on the ADVFN trade data. Its intuitive to me that if lots of buys are happening the supply/demand equation will result in the price rising but I've noticed that sometimes the price rises as the sells increase presumably this because there are large buy orders in the pipeline and the sells are needed to fulfill the buy orders and so the price rises. Am I right?

FSE I am not confused I know exactly how the Roche test works and followed its progress through all the trials to now being regarded as the only completely reliable test available.
Everything I have read about the Batm test is from the company itself. I would need to see an independent analysis before I would be convinced to buy back in.
In the meantime I continue to hold my last tranche of shares.

Interesting note that their is a second antibody test likely to be approved by the UK government alongside Roche.

amt.... you appear confused by the various tests. BATM did release a serologic test thats slightly faster than Roche and as accurate plus it certified and being sold. It does exist. From my understanding they have identified markers that could allow a result much earlier than the 12 to 14 day mark currently possible.
BATM and subsidiaries set up an infectious diseases panel and different tests can be done for various infectious diseases not just Covid19.
What has changed here is that Covid19 has prompted the world to shut down its economy for a virus that was badly misunderstood at the outset,
The WHO and governments around the world sent the lemmings over the cliff for something that could and should have been managed.

BATM group have excellent products in all categories plus they have Celitron which is a world leader in agricultural plant sterilizers, another link in the chain.
This has created a massive new industry in infectious diseases. We have no real idea the potential size of this industry but its mega !

The shares have been rising for quite some time now and looked as if they were going to break out this time last year before any of this Covid19 scare was even around.
Investors Chronicle ST have been highlighting them as have SCSW.

The ventilator news and the serologic test were finally enough to get the market to look at the company seriously. I am quite sure that if you asked the company about their future prospects Covid19 is just a waypoint.

The antibody tests are going to be like a proper clinical study. So selected people will be tested at regular intervals over a period of days, weeks and months. The objective will be to see if the antibodies are still there providing protection over long periods. That's what this is about. It's not about people doing a simple test at home, that will be pointless until we know how long the antibodies remain. The key thing is they must be highly accurate and the Roche system is the only one that has been verified to the degree of accuracy required. I haven't seen any article that states there are any other tests that are viable currently.

Roche test has a specificity greater than 99.8% and 100% sensitivity (14 Days post-PCR confirmation), results from tests expected to be provided within 18 minutes.
Also, the test requires an intravenous blood draw to determine the presence of antibodies.
The Elecsys anti-Sars-CoV-2 antibody test works on Roche’s cobas e range of analysers, more than 40,000 of which are installed around the world and which can run up to 300 tests an hour. There is a fair amount of logistics involved apparently.

Rawdeal I suspect that whatever test government's use they will want it to be done in a lab to ensure the data is accurate and statistics gathered properly. That will also involve the intervention of a healthcare professional for the same reasons.
The Roche tests are being shipped in huge quantities around the World.
I repeat I haven't seen the Batm test mentioned in any articles.

in the interview he mentions about supplying existing customers although no detail about the actual size and value of the contracts. He anticipates that health authorities will want to build supplies for a possible 2nd wave.Even if it does not come there will likely be seasonal colds and flu in the winter. The advantage is that the test can identify a cold, flu (different viral strain) and Covid 19. Officials will then be armed with better data in determining what action to take.
