12/5/2020 16:48 | Another late surge. | paulisi
12/5/2020 16:48 | Yep I sold some the other day at 53p after being underwater for a couple of months buying at 50p in Feb. Happy I held the rest though as now nearly 100% up and happy to hold for more news. | supertag
12/5/2020 16:44 | I liked the move up today although I sold some i still hold my core holding it's good stuff now won't sell for a long time. | red5
12/5/2020 16:34 | BVC now top of my SIPP. Pity I sold so many in the 40s. Oh well. There's always something to moan about! | volsung
12/5/2020 15:41 | >steeplejack. You are correct IMO in your assumptions. I and others blew the whistle on the early WHO findings and absurd projections they made 2 months ago ! They were never correct. At the time WHO were touting 8% mortality rates when the maths suggested certainly no higher than 1% and probably .25% to .5% and the real issue came when you disputed the figures and the analysis you were a dissenter so being corrects was politically inconvenient as Governments like lemmings had already jumped. You are also correct about the vaccine. Coronavirus was identified in the early 1960's and thus far no vaccine exists for any of this group. SARS and MERS that are also Coronavirus. How many remember this ? | fse

12/5/2020 13:23 | Thanks Paulisi and steeplejack for your input. I hadn't picked up on the Austrian airport test. I've just looked at it, interesting. Just to clarify for any new to the board, the Novamed test I was referring to is a JV with BATM. Yes, you can argue flying will be at your own risk, but the airlines need to get enough people who regard the risk acceptable and who want to fly to the same place at the same time, and that's where they need to work at reassuring people. If flights are not full enough, then they won't fly, the airline business model fails. Whilst Austrian airports are doing the test on arrival, I think to reassure enough people to get on the plane and make it viable, you will need to do the test and get the results before the flight, and those with the virus can't fly. Then that can be used at the arrival airport as evidence. And I am also hearing that travel insurance may become an issue for older people - presumably they will be more able to get cover if they can prove they don't have sars-cov-2 before they go. Obviously it all depends on quality of the test, its specificity and sensitivity. But hopefully ours will be good! | gclark
12/5/2020 11:13 | Don't count on these rapid tests being widely available in the short term.If you look at 10 flights an hour with 100 people, you would need a minimum of 10K per day per airport.Ryanair are talking about resuming services in June. I guess that the 2m rule would be impossible to enforce, so it would be fly at your own risk. | paulisi
12/5/2020 11:04 | I'm trying to think through how airports and airlines can operate. I have flights booked UK to France on 1 June and again on 13 June and again on 13 July. I have a house in France. I can change dates foc. I would say, on average, 70-80% of those on the flights outside school holidays are over 60 ie.higher risk group. I am coming to the conclusion that the only way is to test everybody when they arrive at the airport (if there is a test that can give immediate results) before they go into the airport building. If the Novamed test does do this, and I have been looking at their website and other offerings, by taking a sample from the back of the throat and putting it into a device, and giving a result in 5 minutes. I can see that working, it is still in development. It was originally slated to be 3-4 months when announced 2-3 months ago. The price of the flight will have to go up a little bit, but that is the cost of getting things moving again. An alternative idea of testing somebody one or more days before flying doesn't tell you if they have contracted the virus in that period. As a point of interest, the government has sent 50,000 tests to the US for diagnosis - how useful will they be when the results come back? Maybe I'm missing something, but I would regard the results as pretty meaningless if they are several days after the sample was taken. My thoughts … I'm still a holder! | gclark
12/5/2020 09:59 | The buyers are back and back into the low 90's again.Expecting to close in to 100p by the end of the week. | paulisi

12/5/2020 08:48 | Some profit taking this morning... | paulisi
12/5/2020 07:19 | Totally agree and I sold my holding in Novacyt once it had doubled. It invariably makes sense. However, reassu | steeplejack
11/5/2020 17:13 | Well fwiw whilst I don’t post all my trades if I do it’s always same day, I don’t have a broker that lets me trade retrospectively as some do. Time will tell, but selling at 100% is never a bad thing | dr biotech
11/5/2020 17:11 | Yes good spot Wizz we will be paying more attention on Sundays in the future ;-) Added: The running at the moment has all been from the Medical division and the original rational in the establishing the medical division all those years ago was to smooth out some of the volatility in the Telco sector. Telco IMO is on the verge of very rapid expansion with 5G and perhaps also from all the business that was done online at home during the outbreak. NFVTime and cybersecurity solutions are valuable IP. Telco seen rollouts of new services delayed but not cancelled, the problem here is not revenue specific nore implementation limits due to the outbreak. This ought to roar back. | fse
11/5/2020 16:59 | WOW 94.8p even when you make profit, still sometimes you regret your trade being short-lived happy for all holders here shalom | rumobejo
11/5/2020 16:57 | Wizz called it right yesterday looking at the TASE. Well done Wizz | car1pet
11/5/2020 16:06 | I imagine that some will be saying that the stock could climb higher, while others will be saying a correction is imminent.Luckily,we can rest assured that they will both be right after the event. For no particular reason,I think the shares could test three figures if only because the shares seem to be in the ‘zone’ and their appeal is unlikely to evaporate anytime soon. | steeplejack
11/5/2020 15:46 | Yikes ..... look at the steepness of that climb. What do the chartists say .. ? | rawdeal1
11/5/2020 15:44 | WHAT A BUNCH OF AMATUERS - go eat yer crisps and cheddar cheesey | the crypt
11/5/2020 15:34 | I’ve sold 25% as I’ve doubled my money here and seems sensible to take some profits (helps me feel better with losses elsewhere). Will keep the rest for mid/long term | dr biotech
11/5/2020 15:34 | I liked ur comment earlier anything can happen here now | markyt |
