Afternoon, pensions? Thats awful mate. The thing is if a tragedy like that has happened most would bottle it up which is perfectly understandable. No I’m not going to comment on independent or connected risks again, as you say it is just seen as very very annoying. Two aspects of Wick/Upl were very particularly disappointing amongst many, one was the belief that the well was a ‘sideshow̵7;: could never have been given that it emptied maybe half of the current account. The other was the relentless posting of trivia which eventually became a form of objective truth and evidence of a find. The next contingent risk is pretty obvious tbh.

No way am I ever going to do a commentary on a season which I did last year or on individual wells, cannot see any benefit in it. I would like to apologise to anyone if they were wound up by the posts.

Quite Chinadog, yet it took very little time for many individuals with very selfish characteristics of their own to develop more informal methods of exploiting their fellow humans. They don’t need to hide in an EC1 office building. Inspite of fairly frequent and organised operations to disorientate the ordinary investor many individual decisions to buy, sell, hold and importantly quantity are influenced by our shared social biology and psychology. Those traits universally shared by all of us explain our success as a species but do have very significant negative attributes.

Btw I have decided not to comment on the Colter well, bit of a shame as I was prepared to take a risk socially speaking and place my cards down face up as I did over the weeks of Wick and others last year. Just causes anger which is a bit tiring and tedious. Next I’ll be accused of wizadry, turning the oil into water.

Interesting rise.

As to the City I agree: an instrument of sustained self interest, and by its nature ahead of the game.

Haha, yes. Its critical though to be aware that we are all fallible, its far easier to remain rational when you only have a position worth an expensive dinner out or none at all.

I really hope that people can learn to see through the fog of deception and realise just how ruthless and harsh the city actually is.

Without indicting yourself, questionable? Not sure if it matters so much with Boil, not really an investment share in the manner of Rockhopper Exploration PLC for example.

Morning iLeeman

The company board or the bulletin one where GoM practices some serious clowning?

Despite the questionable board members, Colter is drilling an existing discovery this might be worth a punt down here.

Obviously 8% of nothing is nothing! But if colter has a discovery what would the financial upside to boil be roughly?

Where have all the rampers disappeared to with their 5p predictions? Their game was to ramp then jump out on a spike when Wick spudded, leaving the heavily-underwater LTHs holding the baby in the event of a duster.

Unfortunately for them that spike never happened. If they bought around the 0.4p mark then they'll probably see their holdings drop by at least 25% this morning.

I also fail to see the new exuberance over the Colter well. We only have a 8% stake in this next 'wildcat'. If that is also a failure then we might as well turn out the lights.

Unless of course Butler's nephew can produce an asset in SE Asia and finally justify the fee he was paid to do so. Or something positive will finally occur with the asset in Peru. Because I'm sure that Butler will have been earning his salary and working hard behind the scenes in the meantime for alternatives in case of both Wick and Colter being failures. Hasn't he?????

Given Boil/Gold's previous drills it's not a surprise. Let,s hope Colter breaks the trend
