We get an RNS this morning saying drilling will start in December and before the ink is dry we have posters building in a delay.

You couldn"t make it up.

Best to have all approvals in the bag for back to back campaign rather than wait for each well.

they have been saying drilling from Q2 for Wick & Colter! December drilling is now based on more regulatory approvals being received so don't hold your breath on this either.

Have you ever known drilling crews or any aim directors to work over the Xmas period?.

Taking into account drilling timeframes.

December is the month mentioned.

'There are several regulatory approvals and notifications still required'

2019 then imo. 3 wells promised 2018 all year, looking like none delivered, the trend continues.

Anyone would think the drills have been cancelled! Upl and boil taking a dive. Short term money leaving I guess, market doesn't seem to believe it's going to drill in Q4 anymore

No jibes or criticism from me Tommo. I am long term as well. It is difficult on this Board to distinguish well intended from self serving: rise above any negative stuff aimed your way

The expectation is 2 months after the delay was announced on 22nd September.

We should therefore hear late next week or more likely the week after.

Time to top up before the next RNS and the herd arrives.

REABOLD stated that spudding Wick would be late November - for 35 days.

Colter would follow immediately - some days later for moving the ensco-72 rig. And that would drill for forty days.

So no Colter results until into Mid February.

The next RNS will probably be spudding news rather than we will spud in the next 7-10 days.

where is the rns to say that? no permit rns yet and a 30day turnaround time to drilling.
I expect aim directors and workloads over Christmas will confirm next year.

If the first Wick well is successful and produces 30% of the 250 million barrels believed to be in place that provides an NPV of $160 million.

If course the volumes in a successful well could be a bit higher and a lot lower than 30%.

Wick will spud before the end of November. Everything else is now next year.

Starting to doubt any wells will be drilled in 2018 now after all the talk from the board yet again comes to nothing. 2/3 due this year not one delivered so far.

Well we don't know why Ms Parvisi is selling or even if it is still her.
It would seem fairly obvious that she could raise a lot more funds by waiting to spudding commences

alasparavolar,

Read my post 9829, then read his next but one post (9831). You wouldn't need to employ the services of Sherlock Holmes to deduce who his post was aimed at.

REDHILL,

Yes, they may be right but I doubt, like many of these bucket shop outfits, that they've been over-diligent with their calculations. Like I've already posted; they can pluck any figures out of thin air and post them without any comebacks if they turn out to be wrong. Many like to see these figures bandied about, especially long-suffering BOIL shareholders, I'd imagine. I'd be lying if I said that I don't like the idea of these figures turning out to be true because I will be thousands of pounds in profit. But many don't like to see a dose of realism injected which might take the shine off this rose-tinted view.

I don't post that often on this thread but I know that whenever I do I can expect a barrage of jibes and criticism. All I'll say for now is where is the share price presently? If there is any chance of the BOIL share price getting anywhere close to 5-6p in the near future with no consolidation of holdings, then why aren't the Directors filling their boots at these 'bargain' prices when they're lawfully entitled to and why is Ms Parvisi selling large chunks of her holding now after holding on for so long previously?

Or maybe they are right. I'm sure they have done their calculations.
