Yep I agree. Clearly z34 was a waste of time in hindsight, but had oil stayed >$100/b could've been different. You pay your money and take your chance etc. All I mean is that the current company is likely to attract different types of investors to the ones it did 10 years ago. There's a lot of buying at the moment but there's also a lot of selling. I'm quite surprised we've not had any interest notification RNSs about someone increasing their stake.

It is what it is. Probably got more chance here than the non event that was Z-34 which they all failed to do anything with in 12 years!.

If they can get something going with these drills then that is something to build on. Also have 100% of block XX1 Peru still and an outside chance of a 25% stake in a Sundagas deal, surely Butler jnr has ambitions to do something with that business?.

The early investors where here for the big opportunities. The promise of billion barrel finds and life changing share price movements. That's simply not the case now. We're piggy backing on a few small assets. No matter what happens or how well the drills go that big potential has gone.

Most exciting period for the business in years and jp starts dumping. go figure.

Marked as lower risk drills, both fully funded with cash in the bank remaining, both drills in proven oil producing areas with an existing 10.5m column oil discovery in one of the license areas (this license sits next to the largest onshore oil field in Europe in Wytch Farm, produced north of 450m (yes Million) barrels of oil to date).

Wick drill also 'significantly updip' of the large Lybster oil field.

The cos on both drills are high.
Success on either will be 'transformational' to the business, success on both double huge.

The fact that every time the bid gets to a specific point 1M chunk sells come through. Has been the same all week. When it gets to 10 million we'll get another rns no doubt

Really. Based on what? Perhaps the lack of large sells today? Ha

Well tommo you are right.

I wasn't anticipating our biggest share holder off-loading 2% of the company.

I still think we will multi-bag from here but it will need spudding news to do it.

If I didn't believe that I would certainly have sold up.

Looking forward to spudding when any further sales by large shareholders will be mopped up by new holders.

Resident clown back again. Good day Mister nimbidc, just to let you know that I’m around and awaiting your response as it’s now two weeks since you posted that you’d respond to me in two weeks after I disagreed with your post that the share price would be worth a penny by now.

I’m not trying to score cheap points but this is another opportunity to remind people to be very careful about the ramping (whether well-meaning or not) associated with this company.

I was also hopelessly optimistic when I suggested a conservative 0.75p share price by summer’s end. Well, summer officially ends in 14 days time, so very little chance of that happening.

I will ask those thinking of topping-up, or potential new investors, to seriously consider one point: if this company’s share price really does have multi-bag potential in the near future then why has MB failed to buy any shares on the open market at these “low” levels?

At 15% BOIL will have the funds already in the bank for stage 2 if/ when needed. This is probably why XX1 hasn't been drilled yet. See the outcome of these two wells first which makes sense.

Of course if they can find someone to fund 100% of drilling XX1 for 50% WI then MB would have done his job, lets not forget the outlay BOIL have had on this so far on seismics etc funding it all!. Many $m's so this is a fair deal for any farminee.

The market is not as stupid as people on here make out and realise the first wick well was never going to be a money generator. Best we can hope for is a wicks valuation rises as it's de- risked and our share price reacts accordingly.

Well if there are some hydrocarbon shows they'll raise a business case for drilling another well to target a specific pay zone and find some funding. I'd guess boil would be in the chair for 15% of another well assuming they wanted to keep their stake.

To test for hydrocarbons. It was always going to be plugged and abandoned straight away.

I don't understand this sentence taken from 1.2, Project Background.

Quote "The well will be drilled to a total depth of 1,200
metres TVDSS. It is anticipated that the MODU will be on location for up to 30 days. At the end of the
proposed operations, the well will be permanently plugged and abandoned. The well will not be flow
tested (i.e. no hydrocarbons will be flowed to surface)."

If it is going to be plugged and permanently abandoned then why drill it at all ?

I must be missing something.
