The probability remains that success in colter or wick will significantly enhance the share price.

Yes but you only focus on the 'negatives', I don't call that a balanced view!.
Funded for all up and coming drilling operations for the rest of the year with a decent cash reserve remaining, no debt. Could be much worse.

They need to get the farmout sorted yesterday on XX1!. Too much talking and not enough execution here.

lol. OK. just because we don't repeat the bits we like and ignore the bits we don't, doesn't mean we need to move on. It just means we are capable to taking a balanced view of something. Hardly a bad thing.

I wouldn't be so confident Pembury. Yes fully funded for 2018. That's not really saying a lot given it's nearly June.

"Given the limited cash resources, the Board will take a prudent approach in entering into new capital expenditures beyond those already committed to existing ventures."

Fully funded for the years developments and beyond so no chance of a placing. Surprise surprise!!.

Yes, you're right P1. El Barco is not the cert I thought it was. Let's hope the other two wells come in. Droft

Results are out.

All about as expected, although El Barco doesn't sound as hopeful as I was thinking.

Also good to know where we stand on Asia too. Think we can write that off now.

All the ducks being lined-up as a justification for a "you know what" in my humble opinion. I won't mention the word itself as I know it upsets some on this thread.

For me, the jury is still out on Mr Butler and despite a definite improvement in our future potential, I remain to be fully convinced. If we hear something definitive on SE Asia before the end of June then my concerns might ease a little. Doesn't matter if the news is positive or negative; just so long as we know where we stand on that front.

The dry hole risk has increased. Doesn't matter how high the oil price is.

Except the reason you are paying more is that the oil price has gone up so much so on a hit it's a WIN.

Down we go. Paying more for less oil. lose lose.

Maybe. Or the LSE posters haven't got any more of a clue than the rest of us.

Looks like the end of year report could be available this week according to posters on LSE.

Normally we don't get them until June, but with the Company Secretary looking to retire they may be brought forward.

They will probably come with the AGM date being announced.

Oildon11 Good post (save the last paragraph which descended into unnecessary personal slight).

The day this share hits blue and remains at its day zenith at the bell is the day (in my view) that we will be well and truly on our way here.

Good luck to all especially long time holders.

Good post Hugo however may i add while you where quick to define ramping you failed to mention deramping. Unsubstantiated claims of a placing due imminently pretty much fits the bill. Especially when we currently have the funds to meet our commitments on all our prospects. The prospects mentioned are the most exiting we have had for years and while most of us may never get out of the water with this share as the majority of us came here at a much higher price for one prospect alone, the company currently sits in its best position for a long number of years. As you point out there may be dilution along the way but we as shareholders would be very disgruntled if this was "around the corner" as we have the funds to meet our commitments. There are a certain few very bitter posters here who try to shoot down a new investor who is exited by what this potentially company transforming year may hold.Lets face it is there anyone here who wouldn't love to have got in this at the current entry prices???Im not bitter i wrote my money off in this off a long time ago hoping that maybe in a few years time i might be pleasantly surprised and get some of my funds back. If not no biggie but im sure we can all agree the steps sorry strides that have been made over the last 6 months have been a breath of fresh air.Do your own research this share is currently is significantly undervalued and it doesn't take much to find evidence to support this claim.Tommo you can mark my post for grammar if you like just try not to spill any of your microwave meal for one down your shirt in your excitement.

Hi Alasdair, and other friends. Yeah, its been a while, haha. I don't look in too often, just now and again to see how we are doing, but as we approach the drills, I will hopefully stay more in touch.

Life in Sth America is good. (Should have done it years ago), I hope everything with you guys is also well, and wish you all success after such a long time waiting.

There will be no placing until we find oil or gas. All planned drilling including SE Asia - if we finally get is covered by existing funds.

Hugo,

Well reasoned post. Thank you for popping in.

I think you agree that: ` the share price right now is not . . . . at a level anywhere near making placing viable let alone attractive.`

They still have a good chunk of cash reserves after these 3 wells Hugo!
Could fund more drills.
They will still have a large portion of that 5.2m cash remaining, the big next call is XX1.
