The first new major enters Peru with a focus on offshore exploration. Come on CEO Butler & Union what's the problem?.
More majors will follow imo and rumour of the super majors taking interest.




Yet to see a deal from this CEO since appointed in June 2016!. I would have been dismissed after 3 months if that had happened in my line of work, seems it's very different here. Not only do they get nice financial packages they also get awarded options!, although worthless.

It is beyond belief that given the investment Boil have put into 2d/3d seismics over significant areas, analysis and cpr reports giving a P50 of over 2 billion barrels of oil etc that we remain stagnant. Drill targets identified and ready to go!.

Anyone half decent at doing negotiations should have completed by now.

Still nothing going on here then, ten year investment and watched £12k turn to £1k. Tempted to sell up and go on holiday, this lot running the company are painful.

You cant buy because there is a massive buy being worked in the back ground. UOG have farmed out to EXXON and BP and SHELL are in a bidding war to partner us on XX1.If Carlsberg did rumours !!

No that is down to the Board of Director's at Baron Oil showing no positive news flow for how long now, despite all the talk in rns's!.
Stuck with these two for years for what?. They have shown us absolutely nothing for far too long to justify their appointments imo. There has to be a point where we look to change this leadership - again! I don't want that but what is the point of continuing with this while the cash is getting drained away?.

Talks is cheap!.

Pembury, I guess we need to accept there isn't any news -

Baron can't farm-down XXI so next news, pushed out as far as possible 100% drill or relinquish license
UOG can't farm down Z34 and have no cash so can't drill or meet their farm in obligations
UOG no money so refuse to pay us the $2M, Baron not taking legal recourse as too expensive and would take too long
SE Asia was pie in sky so no deals likely, Baron haven't the free cash to do any kind of meaningful deal anyway
Baron's cash in hand going down daily on salaries, general G&A and having to pay for studies on Z34 that UOG should be paying under the farm-in - cash will run out at some point.
BoD have for years proved themselves to be completely useless, they have little or no incentive to do anything as likely their only real desire is keep things ticking along as long as possible in order to draw as much salary for as long as possible before they have to turn the lights out and find alternative employment.

I know the above isn't pleasant reading for those of us who have significant investments here but I feel this is the true state of affairs.

We need a miracle....

Indeed, what rumours..... would love to see that all important RNS of $2M received, UOG farmed out Z34 and drill date set, Boil farmed out XXI on carry (cash) and drill Q317 and new deal in SE Asia...... but there again we've been waiting how long...... ? can't see it myself but will happily eat Butler's hat if something is achieved!
