Wrong. We made the right choice with the CEO. By the way did you actually vote for the CEO or are you just sniping from the sidelines?

Does this company have a competent Chief Exec Officer?, who is leading the ship?. Where is the plan, what have we achieved since 2016?. A big fat zero. In the meantime the limited cash resource gets drained away when we should be utilising what cash there is and moving forward. I think we need to remove this one yet again unless I see something credible here by next month. PO

Phoebusav I am doubting your credibility old boy and seem to have struck a chord. It is time the company performed. Simple as. Ps that is a short simple statement of fact

Instead of countering with a sensible argument and actual figures you resort to repeatedly talking shyte, which undermines your credibility. Perhaps you're the agent and you've not bought all the shares you want at this price. If you've nothing intelligent to say why don't you keep it to yourself.

Moreover, there won't be the liquidity to get in quick in any size, unless you want to drive the price much higher as you do so. More of a slow accumulate while the share price obliges. Folks who want to accumulate would hope the share price stays low.

China, I'm not singing a song, just looking at the facts. Perhaps LTH are too busy lamenting to see the opportunity in front of them, which is understandable. Why buy now? share price is at net current assets per share and things appear to be coming to a head with Z-34 payment overdue, Asia project signing and possibilities with XXI.

This is a crucial 4-6 weeks for Boil. Can the board finally deliver something decent on z34, xx1 and Asia?.

Phoebusav like I said you sing a good song but ruined it a tad with the get in quick before it takes off hint. Pembroke is right in what he says as am I in wanting a hard sale (development) rather then hot prospects

how comes eme can get quick and half decent deals in Asia then and Boil can't after nearly a year of trying? Sundagas are not delivering despite Boil's backing for a year!. do we get our money back from the nephew if they fail after a year?, the initial deal was for 6 months and still f all after twice that timeframe approaching fast. phoeb. I see you haven't mentioned the Boil board in your overview of the company and it's assets, potential is one thing realising it is another matter which lies with the management sadly in our case. the total asset base was acquired by Gary Moore in 2004 (xx1) and 2005 (z34). still not drilled xx1 with seismic completed over two years ago or offshore z34 with seismics completed years ago also.

You should have hope Tommo. If any of these catalysts trigger BOIL will do very well. If the SE Asia deal is signed or Z-34 is farmed out BOIL should be one of the star performers of 2017. Given the illiquidty of the stock and the fact it's so bombed out, folks will find it almost impossible to buy in size once news breaks, so it's advisable to accumulate beforehand. That said, buying in size anywhere under 0.40p is next to impossible and it would take some time to build a decent position. A few £Ks worth of buying would see this hit 0.5p in a flash.

Thanks, I've just done at lot of research across the whole sector and this appears to be one of the best opportunites at present. While an 'event' is required to unlock the value here unlike some of the other opportunities in the sector, the upside is commensurately bigger. Given that news could come on several fronts, the odds of a major transformation here look very good, and the case is particularly compelling with the shares priced at net current assets per share.

phoebusav, Thank you for pointing all that out. It shows how far I'd given up on this company that I hadn't even bothered to read their communications properly. Your posts give hope. It's been a long time since we've had any of that.

Phoebusav. You sing a good song albeit you come across as an Agent. Nuog's share price recently rose quickly and a placing ensued. You seem to suggest a similar scenario but what I want to see here is some positive news rather than same old hot prospects on hold

The information is not rumour, it is official. See page 14 2017-06-30 presentation. hxxp://www.baronoilplc.com/newpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/AGM-2017-presentation-20170630.pdf Also see comment from 2017-06-18 RNS, 'we hope that agreement can be reached within the next three months on a new continental shelf project which contains significant gas potential.' If the three months is correct news could well be within the next four weeks. Your stale bull psychology is also a really good sign and to be expected after such a significant and sustained decline. It's a good contraindicator of the exceptional value at this price level. You should have heard the moaning on the UKOG board 3 months ago when the share price dipped under 1p. Sensible folk backed up the truck and gained 1000% in a few weeks. As far as funding the SE Asian project, please note that EME only had to pay $2M or £1.5M to get its 10% WI in Mako South this April, which has been a huge success resulting in 181 BOEPD net and at least 43 BCF 2C net recoverable to EME, adding many millions to the market cap. I expect the BOIL deal to be on a similar scale and this could be funded from the existing cash position. If the SE Asia deal is announced, or the Z-34 drill partner farms out, I would expect BOIL to rally several hundred percent in a day or two. In this scenario they could easily place into the volume at a significant premium to the current share price to give them some headroom. They may even have enough to go ahead and drill XXI, which is drill ready. The only downside is you may find it hard to sell at 1p and have to settle for a much higher price instead.

we know about the potential phoe but we need deals to complete still on every asset before they can move forward, it has been like this for well over a year now on xx1 and z34 and Asia a year next month. so it is relentless tedious stagnation and cash burn keeping the lights on waiting!. hopefully the ceo will get his first result very soon, it is long overdue and some!.

phoebusav, Your post suggests that BOIL are further down the line in acquiring a specific project in SE Asia than the company have hitherto alluded to, unless I'm getting my wires crossed. The "BOIL's prospective project contains a significant gas discovery" bit ties in with the posts from keya500 two or three weeks ago which hinted at much the same thing. Don't know where you're getting your information from but I sure hope that there is something in it. Anything to provide a bit of hope for this company would be welcome but my question would be: how are they going to fund any acquisition/farm-in? nimbidc, I suspect that I'm in a similar position to many other BOIL shareholders in that I'm so far underwater that it isn't worth selling and to mentally write it off but hoping for some miracle at the same time. But believe me; if there is any substance to these latest rumours and the share price spikes to anywhere close to 1p as a consequence, then I will be out like a shot.

[SE Asia] It's a big place and problems are not everywhere. SIA and PMO have very successful operations in the region as do many others. EME have just drilled Mako South there and it was a huge success. BOIL's prospective project contains a significant gas discovery, so read contingent resources. This is the same configuration as EME's Mako South project, which it only farmed into a few months ago and has already been transformational for the company. [2000% upside] BOIL's share of Cuy-1 is 82.6 MMBOE net recoverable, which is gargantuan for the market cap, in fact this appears to be the second cheapest market cap to net barrels for any drill on the entire LSE and by a HUGE margin, and I have looked at all companies. Once drill is confirmed share price could easily reach 100p/BOE which would be 6p per share or 1900% above the current bid price. JOG is currently trading at more than 100p per net recoverable barrel in run up to Verbier drill. [Cash position] Current net asset position for BOIL including admin up to this point is about 0.30p per share, so there is almost no downside risk for the foreseeable. [Conclusion] Given the poor share price performance and the delays it is understandable how shareholders feel. However, looking with a fresh pair of eyes, at the current share price BOIL offers a staggeringly cheap entry point for a tantalising array of 4 massive catalysts, any of which could trigger at any time. Given that the current share price is 100% underpinned by net current assets, exposure is effectively for FREE. This is not the time to be cautious. Back up the truck ... if you can get the liquidity.
