Petecb1,

I have been invested here since July 2004. So I know what the plan WAS.

In the last three years the oil price has gone down to 50 dollars a barrel.

There no commentators predicting $100 dollar oil again anytime soon. So circumstances have changed and we have to change with it or wither and die.

Roll on SE Asia in my view. Get the company producing a profit for the first time in 13 and a half years.

If we can get Peru going again once we are a viable company all well and good.

South America is the reason most shareholders are shareholders. To move the companies focus to another continent isn't what we bought into.

If xxi was good to go in current climate the fact is it would have been drilled by now. They're not stupid, they're not going to be turning people away who want to drill it! The prospect and access to the data have been available to interested parties for a long time now.Yes Asia is a continuous waste of money and should be strongly questioned.

and then there's the Asia 'bid'. one year of funding the Butler family at Sundagas for nothing!. Put with that two years of funding the current management, g and a for no return also = cash burn.

Pete, xxi is certainly economic to drill, baron boil are the great untouchables. 81.

We're sitting on a load of oil that isn't currently economic to drill, and possibly never will be if some of the peak oil projections are true. Doesn't matter what he management team do if no one wants to drill it.

Yes, in the continuing absence of news this appears to be all but finished. I assume the people that run this "company" are still drawing salaries, so the remaining cash must be steadily disappearing.

Shockingly poor performance from the management. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Bought into Gold Oil in May 2012 then the sh1t hit the fan. Locked in ever since with zero progress from Baron Oil to date. Not a very good record so far from the current BoD.

"Wonder if I'll be pleasantly surprised?"

No, it is just another blip that won't be sustained.
