14/10/2010 08:03 | is this still falling because no clarification from useless bod concerning rights issue? | martyn9
14/10/2010 07:58 | Morning all Ken, its your thread, keep it as it is. Without the odd banter and horse tip lifes not worth living. Also with barc a sig member of the ftse100 its relevent. As for barc itself, we seem to be in a new range , 280 to 295. If this holds all week I'd be surprised, but if it does them it may be worth you long termers dripping into it at these levels. | bobp
14/10/2010 07:57 | rainfal ,you didnt buy barcs above 300p ,please say no | ludlowe
14/10/2010 07:54 | Looks like barc fell out of bed! Anyone got a safety net? All STAN's fault. | bantam175
14/10/2010 07:53 | Ken do you have a Protopage with all your sites listed & rely on their RSS for instant notification of Company news etc.? | gotnorolex
14/10/2010 07:53 | I guess it's all about striking a balance. All threads are better for a mix of topics. Barclays is being a real pain at the mo. I've an average price of just under £3. Hmmm. . Perhaps a new trading strategy for today.... The 'look away' method. | xamf
14/10/2010 07:35 | Seems farmsted got out on the wrong side of the bed | capricious
14/10/2010 07:21 | Pjw956 - Do you think I don't know that this thread is BARC? As already stated, when I decided to move my trading ideas to the FTSE I asked people on this thread if they would like me to start one for the FTSE and those who took the trouble t reply said no post it on here! I can't say that I remember your vote. I'll do whatever people want and I'm still willing to go away if that is the majority decision. Why don't you organise a vote? | kenbachelor
14/10/2010 07:05 | My FTSE open = 5,754.8 | kenbachelor

13/10/2010 19:12 | Ken ; sometimes its just one of those things - has happened 2 or 3 times to me over the last 10 years - different pc's; no obvious reason and no issues since | pjw956
13/10/2010 18:12 | Thjanks guys. Fan OK, computer cool, dde not running as I've finshed with that for the day except to update the banks when the US closes. Running a full system virus scan at the moment. | kenbachelor
13/10/2010 17:49 | Can happen when you have streaming data applications running that overload the cache. (Other possibilities include a virus, a bad sector on a hard disk, or a transient electricity spike leading to a temporary memory cell error.) | miata
13/10/2010 17:35 | My computer has just shut down and re-started while I was eating my dinner. It seems windows needed to do this to protect my computer. I've never seen this happen before, has anybody else? | kenbachelor
13/10/2010 16:33 | The more I look at this open figure problem, the more I return to IG. If you bring up the IG FTSE chart and point at 08.01 the screen displays an OHLC figure for the first minute of live trading. It comes in very close to what I've been getting off the advfn live feed and it's more readily accessible, so I'm going to use that 'close' figure in future. I know that ThetaTrader is using the FTSE trading system, but is anybody else? If you are please let me know so that I can calculate how much commission you owe me at 1%. | kenbachelor |
