"Hilarious....incentivised to buy electric cars and then faced with the prospect of not being able to charge them. You couldn't make it up."

Charging points for electric cars will be preset to turn off for NINE HOURS a day amid fears they will cause blackouts if government hits target for phasing out petrol and diesel

Too many people shouting and not enough listening. Like a lot of threads.

Now that we have got St Leger Day over for another year, maybe things can return to normality.

The Tory Party Global Warming Scam Update

Last Monday, a warm September day, Britain’s power grid asked one of our few remaining coal-fired power stations, West Burton ‘A’ in Lincolnshire, to fire up and provide electricity. There wasn’t enough wind, and gas has become incredibly expensive.
A year from now, West Burton ‘A’ will be shut. Soon afterwards, like so many other coal stations, it will be demolished in an act of dogmatic self-harm. So what will happen after that if we run into trouble? Meanwhile China builds new coal-fired power stations all the time. So what good does this do?

In today's show, you will how corporate executives plan to send stock prices higher which could crash stocks later as the economy slows, why Beijing raised the white flag on Evergrande's technical debt default, why the ECB's balance sheet taper is bullish for the dollar, why this week's Treasury auctions saw strong demand, and how rising producer prices could lead to another financial crisis.

So they now come out and tell you it causes heart issues..

Chris Whitty 'will approve Covid jabs for teenagers because it will boost their mental health and social development' but 12-15 year olds may only get ONE dose because of rare heart complication risk

Of course these vaccines won't stop it. It's a coronavirus same as a common cold and there are thousands of strains already. The cold virus changes constantly as does this. If these vaccines really did work as intended, with 80% now vaccinated, most with 2 jabs, you would expect maybe several hundred new cases a day at most, not 30 odd thousand. Double vaccinated and you can get the same viral load as an unvaccinated making you just as infectious will guarantee to keep it coming in large numbers. That's why passports are an absolute nonsense.

Vaccines are to PREVENT you getting the illness in the first place. That is why you are vaccinated against TB, Measles, Diphtheria, Polio and the list goes on. You also have a proper vaccine once and it lasts for years and sometimes a lifetime. This is not a vaccine they have been forcing onto people and it never was.

Manics : Lets hope the wait is worth it ...

Its odd to see LLOY up 1.6% and barc only up 0.35%...usually the other way round.

Wonder if this arvo gives it a push north ...?

Any thoughts ?

Manics.... yes my grandson is tech mad and China owns 2 thirds of rare earth in the world which is needed for everything from phones to EV car batteries.
It seems we can't win. However I am still determined to not buy Chinese made if at all possible.

maxidi: my kids, when you ask them what they want, will only mention digital goods. That is to say: in-game currency and tokens.

We buy material goods to populate the scene Christmas morning under the tree. I try and make them forget about digital just for the day, though the world has changed.

I know it's difficult nowadays but when I buy any manufactured goods I will always look to see if it comes from China and will look for alternatives if possible.

The money we spend on Chinese made goods goes to making their armed forces stronger and will soon be the dominant force and we are supporting them with our cash.

China is a force for evil.
