Thinking the same as throughout the day goes through some odd patterns it seems. Good day for FTSE and Futures strong too but doesn't look like we're benefiting. Buy back was strong today too compared to some other days

Bristol and Exeter universities fly in 1,200 students from Communist China

"Woke-Marxist-Feminist-Communist infiltrated Western education system at it again. Selling access to sensitive Western tech business and skills. Whilst brain-washing and selling Mickey-Mouse degrees to the locals. They will never learn; time to drain the University-swamp from the top down, and restrict access to non-Western and non-Commonwealth visas. And certainly no pathway to citizenship by being a student from non-Commonwealth countries. Time to be smart, protect borders, sovereignty, and technology, for the New UK/Commonwealth Golden Age."

Banks refunded customers and paid fines, I think Accountants should reimburse shareholders and pay fines.

Another Tory eco attack on the poor. Its mainly poorer people that have to run older cars. The Tory Greens won't be happy until everyone on a low income is forced back into agricultural serfdom

E10 petrol will probably not affect most cars at all. If in doubt, then fill up with premium fuel.

If you have a fairly new car, then you will notice nothing.

Boris Johnson, is my car safe with E10 petrol, what should I do if I accidentally fill up with it and will bills rise? 'Greener' unleaded to be sold at forecourts from TODAY - here's what it means...

The Boris Johonson tax on nappies is really class war.. There is a price to pay for going green

It seemed absurd then, and it seems absurd now. For as with just about everything — from electric cars to heat pumps — there is a price to pay for going green. And this nappy tax idea is a classic case.

From Sue, London
Omg the torture of the stinky nappy bucket to sterilise them and then washing them and line drying. And the babies were always damp and had to wear those awful crackly plastic pants over them. Disposable nappies were a revelation. Surely with all our researchers and ingenuity they can come up with something recyclable? Maybe if they stop researching the bleeding obvious perhaps.
