Barclays share value now above pre Covid. Wow, that doesn’t raise the hairs and your arms?
Only thing we no longer have is PPI until the next one hits.
Is everything really good in the world. Brexit ramifications were and are massive and we don’t ever hear about those anymore??????

Now Covid has gone away. Lol.

All we’ve seen recently is PIs investing, panic looms then they sell, they aren’t out two days when they buyback in, then it rises, panic looms then they sell, they aren’t out two days and then they buyback in. Repeat, repeat, repeat. When it continually falls then they’re stuck.

Ftse is now going to hit 7900!!!!!

On the back of what, sound financial statements and trading positives? Don’t be fooled. Look at the debt levels, no impact?

Once true Covid infection rates start to hit and panic looms all this positivity that’s being created by the big boys suckering in the PI losers is going to hurt badly.
I hate GS with a passion.

Manics, I have been right throughout. Initial fall then rise leading to ex dividend date. I haven’t been wrong at all.

Took my first dividend of £1900 on Lloyds. Averaged down on the fall given banks were going to rise given different ex dividend days. Sold out above the average.

Not touching Natwest in recent weeks as government will drop this 5p tranches at a time very soon.
Not touched HSBC either as tomorrow China might just change another HK policy.

I would expect a little turbulance after 3 days of gains and a divi looming but the fundamentals are good and the profits reflect this. Barc aims for a 6.5p divi this year so potentially 3.5p to come 🤞

Calm down. We all know that this now falls back by at least 5% ongoing after tonight’s close.
The money has been in for weeks and now comes back out. Played by the big boys again.

smartie6: you said you felt sorry for investors being suckered in by results and you told us it was going to fall (on your read of results).

I don't know why you feel sorry for them as they are sat on tidy recent gains.

Your read on results was wrong imo, despite this today you present yourself still clevererer? :)

Listen the Abn amro boss this morning, ever so positive. That scares me in itself.
Have to ask the question guys, where’s Covid gone. It just disappears? Have you walked down the street in the last few days, no concerns by anyone.
But the government are scared and now getting ready for a 3rd, yes a 3rd injection. Human pin cushions he we come.

Not sure there’s any value at these levels, especially if Covid infection rate quickly doubles.

Whilst interest rate rise does provide a bit of a positive the big concern moving forward is a finally balanced line between that and defaults.

You do get it that the banks have had their run and once tonight closes then the money moves out and we’re going to see a quick fallback at first by at least 5%.

Don’t you guys know anything. Continue to be played by the big boys.

Double bottom on the yields looks promising .... target 1.50 + . This bodes well for the banks.

Chinese Court Sentences Canadian Man To 11 Years In Prison As Diplomatic Spat Between The Two Countries Grows

A Chinese court convicted Canadian businessman Michael Spavor of spying on Wednesday and sentenced him to 11 years in prison, in a decision that will likely worsen diplomatic relations between Beijing and Ottawa as the chief financial officer of Chinese telecom giant Huawei detained in Canada faces possible extradition to the U.S.

Tories have blown it..

Johnson was always going to be terrible PM, just as he was a disaster as London Mayor. A huge mistake making him leader and we will pay for his mistakes for years. I doubt Sunak will be any better. He's wrecked the economy; corporation tax up from 19% to 25%, threats of NIC for pensioners, the triple lock being abandoned. I don't want Rishi Sunak thanks. He's part of the same green lunatic cabale as Boris, he's no more a Tory than Tony Blair..
