Good luck.
I'm staying put for long term now. Disgusted with the large drops in value but holding

I am stepping out for a while gents, the yields are not looking particularly great .... going to join you Manics on the side lines. Certainly wasn't my best trade but still profited from barcs climb from last year and don't fancy giving too much back !!

Manics : I'd be interested to hear when you see strength back in barc and readying yourself to step off the sidelines and of course we may have divi news at some point.

Rishi Sunak has to keep the £ printing presses rolling because for the past 20 years Britain gave its wealth creating manufacturing to Communist China.

Wake up Boris. A Chinese-owned semiconductor firm has secured a deal to buy the UK’s largest chip producer, sparking further concerns about the sale of key British assets to foreign buyers.

Nexperia, a Dutch firm owned by China’s Wingtech, said it has taken full ownership of Newport Wafer Fab (NWF), which produces chips used in a range of tech products from phones to self-driving cars.

UK must pay the EU £40.8BILLION.... The British Government historically are no strangers to abrogating treaties they have signed in good faith , in this instance arguably Johnson was swimming in waters too deep for him when he signed this treaty , therefore it is reasonable that common sense should prevail and this treaty be nullified and voided ..

Britain's Brexit divorce bill REVEALED: UK must pay the EU £40.8BILLION - £2bn more than expected with huge chunk due within six months, Brussels confirms

What we need to do is shifting our reliance from China for goods as the only thing these monsters understand is money.

We should be shortening our supply lines and source things from much closer to home, plus encouraging companies to reshore to the UK through incentives. Now we are free of the EU octopus, there is no reason why we can't do it. This would have so many benefits and provode jobs here, not on the other side of the world in some autocratic dictatorship.

Circle, the company behind digital currency USD Coin, is to float in the US in a $4.5bn (£3.27bn) merger deal with a company chaired by former Barclays chief executive Bob Diamond.

It will merge with Concord Acquisition Corp, which is chaired by Diamond, with the combined business to be taken over by a newly formed Irish holding company that will then list on the New York Stock Exchange.

The deal with Concord – a special purpose acquisition vehicle (Spac), also known as a “blank cheque” shell company that raises money first and seeks businesses to buy later – gives Circle an enterprise value of $4.5bn.

-a crypto spac? Bloody hell, Bob.

Every person that has a Public final salary Pension should forfeit their state pension for a time. Many many pensioners, only have a STATE PENSION......could you live on that. Including the inept Gordon Brown MP, who ruined the private pensions of this Country.

Pensioners sell their homes, most buyers will rent them out for extortionate rents. That does not help people to buy their own homes but it does make the owners richer and able to buy more properties. A big percentage of landlords don't give a toss what conditions their tenants live in as long as the cash is rolling in. Greed is the name of the game.

Quality housing stock too. Hoarding family homes empty of families. Max 3 bedrooms per electoral roll, or do we let people get enslaved to ever higher mortgage debt forever more?

Makes sense. Pensioner income has outstripped average wages for years. Now if pensioners were forced to sell their homes it would free up housing stock.

Rudder: it's FTSE250 with a £1.2bn cap. A bit of insurance/safety not a bad shout in these markets imo. Of course the FTSE just can't wait to puke the 7 handle.
