The US bank stress test results are due out this week, I think the stress tests were shown to be worthless when BoE having set a stress test, approved dividend payouts but subsequently ordered UK banks to pull dividend. The BoE have, in my opinion, made bank shares hard to sell to investors.

Bought in at 130 and 150 but...
Didn't sell at 180??
No, just buy and hold untill you die!
For your information..I didn't vote any thing..I am in the EU, but
Perhaps you would like to explain why all the unbelievable bureaucracy in France is due to being in the EU?
Or..why When the UK was in, there wasn't?
But now the UK is out, there is?
Unbelievable?

Thank you for the reply that you couldn't be bothered with
I never thought that you would bother to explain your post...dimwits never do
I am sure that all in Europe are very happy that you are back in the UK, (I am) Enjoying your freedom, your sovereignty, and your gloabal trading opportunities...?

Oh my. Why do people who voted remain get all antsy. It's over ...time to realise that is now history and accept it and chill out. If you continue to look back you'll miss what's in front of u. Rl advice.

Hopefully share price will climb it certainly should

I bought in at 130/150 and 180 and intend to hold. Far better than sitting in my account with no interest and it's out the joint account so my wife can't spend it

Are you a labour voter or maybe a green/Lib or Communist? Just wondering because I am firmly anti EU, having spent 7 years living in France ( love the country and the people but the bureaucracy is unbelievable). I am a Conservative of course!

jordaggy : Interesting article and reiterates the diverse profitability of barc.

Of course there is always two sides to every story but barc made good profit through 2020 when the world stopped and now we have a very active and hungry economy pushing forward for 2021/22 I would like to see this being reflected in the share price

gl all and here's to hoping we convincingly push through the 190p level on the next climb.

The National Bank of Poland buying gold for first time in 2 years

The National Bank of Poland increased its gold reserves to 230.54 tonnes. It pointed to the possibility of introducing a strategy that provides for the purchase of 100 tonnes of gold to the domestic reserves over the next few years.
