14/2/2021 19:06 | Thanks manic. I'm still very long since April, put on a medium term recovery play on barclays, Lloyds, NatWest, standard chartered and metro (metro i bought later) and haven't range traded along the way. At some point i feel i need to cut back my bank exposure (excluding metro, metro is a special situation play) .. but just not clear when. I'm of the opinion that we will have a relatively short term v-shaped recovery when things open up again (pent up demand)... And after that a long drawn out recession (when consumers go into a cautious saving mode, and companies go into debt repayment mode, both of which suck as lot of spending power out of the economy, which will depress growth\gdp). But when to cut back on my bank exposure is the big question (banks are about 30 percent of my portfolio). | simmsc | |
