The MA200 increasingly looking like it's going to happen imo. BARC has only been able to maintain brief periods above it these recent years.

Yes that GME was in the news last night...makes you wonder how many have become couch potato junky day traders with all the lock downs and stimulus packages...no returns on savings account...and some are probably playing the market like they playing computer games thinking it is easy money on offer...

Would prefer to buy in low 120p...even on good results day it could get sold off...market has become very choppy...and as for that Dow and Nas is top heavy bloated index...courtsey of FED pump and tax breaks...

Edgy is the word imo. VIX implied says moves of greater than 2% intra in the sessions so it's likely to get bumpy.

Watch it hit 131p now I've closed :)

Manics : very respectable 16p gain on the short.. great trade. Any thoughts from here? I dropped my small short and picked up a small long but must say it seems vary edgy out there...

A decent enough open for BARC. I had thought it might immediately crater to 131p so I want to guard in case such resilience is sustained.

Some for the next man perhaps but happy with the trade.

Futures down 70pts, wave goodbye to this years gains.

Some of the short options on Tesla look interesting. I feel more confident betting on something in the future rather than what is going to happen on a daily basis.
