I think they will payout the divi on Friday it's the next one that is mostly debatable . This is what am hearing. Indeed Barclays etc are in a much better balance sheet position than in 2008 . No comparison . I was there in 2008 . My 2 cents on this , plus for fairness I do hold Barclays at close to today's levels . Some I even bought at 104 . Doesn't also make sense to be all doom and gloom unless you want a world of queuing for soup and a piece of bread
