In 2001 local Election Day was postponed due to foot and mouth issue. Bojo can postpone the election date based on a current issue effecting the UK i.e upcoming departure from EU.

He's not going to vote for a GE until it's guaranteed that 'Brexit' day has been pushed back. Otherwise Bojo could simply postpone the day of the election to after 31st October and we leave with no deal. It's all about tactics ;)

Truth hurts, nothing is better than our Germany ++ deal, democracy is also important. We should have had a national government at the beginning, respected the referendum left the EU and stayed in the single market and customs unions as per Thatcher. Away from political union, perfect for the UK, no problem with Ireland most folks wouldn't have noticed. Now we are in this complete mess, I blame Corbyn, May, Blair, Cameron. A perfect storm, who knows where we go from here.
