19/7/2018 14:06 | Porty As of 31 May 2018, Barclays PLC's issued share capital consists of 17,108,507,228 Ordinary shares with voting rights. At today's share price that equates to circa 32B . Barc would have to invest 1.6B just to buy back about 4% - 5% of it's shares, probably more like 3.5% , if the share price increased a little. So the investment by Baarc would have to be substantial to affect the share price I agree though, they really need to take some urgent action to improve the SP | m1k3y1

18/7/2018 12:56 | I’m not even holding bank stocks anymore , don’t even know why I’m posting here 😊 Rightly or wrongly banks have been associated with Brexit more than other sectors I guess as it draws closer risk is outweighing reward and people are more wary, less inclined to buy back in if they sold out, just my opinion. | mercer95

18/7/2018 08:56 | How many recessions have we endured under the EU, and how many more if we stay? .. A year, perhaps two after we leave with a "no-deal", we will all look back, and say, yup! .. Carney got it wrong again .. And this Great Country of ours, will be the envy of the rest of the world, as we grow and prosper.. Video | johnwise
18/7/2018 08:56 | Never works, like having a foreign manager for the England team, wrong mindset, you may as well say we haven’t got anyone capable in the whole country to do the job,it’s embarrassing. I voted to remain, mainly because I didn’t want the market to crash but I’m glad we’re leaving now, I think we should just walk away, EU are never going to give us a fair deal.My brother voted to leave, self employed now he wants to remain, how can anyone sort out that.England wasn’t never really in the EU,it’s the island mentality IMO we kept the pound, we drive on opposite sides of the road,England will be stronger once we leave, it’s all a bit boring now. | mercer95
