Bemused to see the Grandads over at LLOY moaning about "LLOY being an ATM for consumer spending (via PPI)".

Damn right. Baby boomers are the first generation to so viciously rape forward generations of their birthright and heritage, so it can only be right and proper that their dinosaur boomer SIPP stocks pay for part of the hurt imo.

In my view anyone that's done business with Barclays over the last 15 years, if the allegations of fraud and criminality are proven, should be compensated imo, because they've then unwittingly been doing business with criminals (if proven in a court of law, imo).

For added security you can’t give access to your account to others, for example, your partner or financial advisor. However, any existing Power of Attorney (POA), executor or court appointed third parties will be carried across to Smart Investor and this will become a telephone only service following the move.
