Capitulation shorters closing...

Capitulation is when investors give up any previous gains in stock price by selling equities, in an effort to get out of the market and into less risky investments

"The Public Investment Corp., Africa’s largest money manager, said it’s interested in boosting its holding in Barclays Africa Group Ltd. and is still considering the best partner to team up with for a bid".

Shorters doomed again such a shame losing money.

Barclays has completed the sale of its Egyptian business to Morocco's Attijariwafa Bank as part of its shift towards focusing on the US and Britain. The sale will mean a cut of about £2bn in Barclays' risk-weighted assets, boosting the bank's core capital ratio by about 0.1%. - Guardian

Banks .............. Deutsche Bank

This bank could take down the EU

Plus it has the potential by itself of starting another major economic downturn

And lets face it the markets should not be where they are given current world trading outlook/unemployment/Debts and zero interest rates/QE

BUT it now looks like the USA is going to chop off circa $10 Billion from the fine they have recently imposed on Deutsche Bank.

why ?

Has anyone noticed that within hours of this rumour , Germany also joined the USA in condemning Russia over Syria ?

I am guessing that the EU will lend the money to Greece, Italy and Spain, giving much criticism of their ways and then that money will be paid over to DB immediately
