Banks will drop at 0% as there are no margins unless QE nest eqq. 0.25% would be better.

I asked the question how George Osborne who has never held any senior management, business or economic position and who has no education in economic matters (he has a 2nd class degree in modern history), was appointed to run a large economy like the UK. ?

Humiliated George Osborne leaves Downing Street by the BACK DOOR as he is booted out of government by Theresa May

portside1: please don't make me resurrect the posts from a few years back where you promised this community (repeatedly) that you would stand up at the BARC AGM.In the end you were too frightened to do so and instead sat there quietly like a 'good little investor'.The community you will remember felt very badly let down by you indeed.

Smurphy - My visitor didn't take as long as I expected, so I have an answer for you. At 10.45 Somnus said go short at 150.97, but of course without a lot of work I have no way of suggesting what to use as a T/P.

I use 30 points on the DAX, which would scale back to about 0.66, so maybe 150.37 would be appropriate.

Smurphy - I've never tries using it for anything other that indexes, I'm sure I could try it but it would take a bit of setting up and I've got somebody coming to see me this morning.

When I've got time, I'll let you know but it's unlikely to be today.

That must be it because I didn't think we would bounce along again today. 150p might be a barrier to sells for profit but again it is probably a stop on a short which is why it broke it.

Shorts closing fast it would seem as despite the threat of a cut in interest rates (and let's face it, would anyone really notice) the market is anticipating sooner rather than later Carney will give the financials another sugar rush in the form of QE.

Political, at least at Governmental level, sentiment is better too.
