Well Portside - It looks as if the markets are becoming a little more stable now that the last of the country's wrecking crew has withdrawn and there's some certainty on the cards.

Where is the choice for party rank and file? Tory Party is doomed finally. The BBC are rushing to celebrate of course, gushing about this - saying the old witch has the reputation "as a safe pair of hands" I don't see the media and press making such a campaign against May for her beliefs in Sharia Law ...A Cameron Mk2

Johnwise,

In a mud fight Leadsom would lose against May and her leopard print shoes.

Johnwise, if they don't do as she says, the conservatives would lose complete respect and affect the whole political system across the board. No one would trust a politician again. I just hope the walk the walk, now they've talked the talk.

Andrea Leadsom QUITS Tory race

Shame, Leadsom had brilliant qualities to invoke Article 50. She was right along that May who voted remain will not invoke Brexit. May will no way take us out of the EU with good trade agreements

May is the Heir to Cameron, same qualities, just another wimp Liberal masquerading as a Conservative

A 3% levy isn't going to stop Eurozone nations trading with us. Banks look like they can continue trading in Europe with a free passport as they have already been given passports in the Eurozone, if that article I read was true then the services industry (our biggest industry) will be fine. The Euro will come under pressure when The Greece problem is finally dealt with and a bank in Italy or Spain begin folding. Complete wage stagnation in Europe due to cheap labour flooding the market will ensure tax income will never rise for a very long time. If we have problems after Brexit I think they have more coming.

Anyone noticed how the media is no longer reporting on the mass landing of immigrants landing in Italy and Greece has stopped, as if it has just gone away. Europe is a mess due to lack of leadership..
