18/7/2016 14:45 | Peel Hunt comment on Softbank's takeover of ARM... "Despite the recent economic and political uncertainty, we note that an all-cash deal has been agreed. We continue to believe that UK technology companies could be acquisition targets for large global companies looking to add intellectual property or customers (the deal rationale for Softbank in our view) and expect to see further M&A activity in the sector. We could see near-term investor interest in other semiconductor names (eg IQE and Imagination Technologies); global leaders (eg GBGroup, NCC, Accesso); Internet of Things/virtual/augme | someuwin
18/7/2016 14:36 | Looks like Bango shares are being hoovered up as quick as the poke coins themselves Starting to think something else is brewing in the back ground in addition to Pokemeon Go and somebody knows something Doubt it would be a take out as the II's would not let is go anywhere near this share price even with the jump in the last 2 weeks. | lentjes
18/7/2016 13:40 | Bango and Nintendo soar on success of Pokémon Go | someuwin
18/7/2016 10:43 | Found it? Bango (FTSE AIM) Bango owns a system that allows smartphone users to pay for digital content. In particular, Bango processes payments for Pokémon Go, the new app that has taken the US by storm. Pokémon Go was released last week and it has already been installed on over 5 per cent of Android devices in the US."Rachel Winter, Killik & Co | smallcapinvestor1

18/7/2016 09:12 | Pokémon Go continues to defy gravity with it's reach.Nintendo's servers were unable to keep up with the demand. That's quite an eye opener. | j777j
18/7/2016 08:20 | Volume in bango looks like a tip somewhere but Google news shows nothing new over the weekend. Anyone seen or heard anything? | smallcapinvestor1
18/7/2016 08:14 | Arm holdings takeover. Bango must be vulnerable to an opportunistic bid too. | j777j
15/7/2016 12:47 | In the highly opaque world of finance it frequently appears that not all is quite as it seems. These guys use cfds as hedges against long or short positions, but hard to say for sure. | j777j
15/7/2016 12:29 | J777J Can you shed any light on why Odey would take a CFD position rather than just buy the shares outright apart from the obvious reduced capital outlay and stamp duty /tax saving ? | lentjes
15/7/2016 10:07 | It would put the icing on the cake from the progress achieved over recent months if Bango could announce a couple more activations between now and 20th September when they issue their H1 results. Maybe another launch in India or the 1st in Japan or an update on the long awaited Amazon partnership. I think we need something to keep the momentum going Also the partnership with Samsung could do with an update. | lentjes
15/7/2016 10:06 | Pokemon go getting ready to launch in 200 more countries. | smallcapinvestor1
15/7/2016 09:08 | Odey is a shrewd hedge fund manager,so nice to know he likes the company enough to build a very sizeable stake in it.Who do we think pushed the share price down?Could easily have been the same guys whilst at the same time building their stake. All skullduggery.Having said that, bgo does seem to finally on the verge of a breakthrough. | j777j
15/7/2016 08:28 | Amused that this article has a quote taken from this thread. All some interesting comments re China and Mexico. | smallcapinvestor1
15/7/2016 06:20 | Amt Don't forget in some countries DCB is starting to be used for physical goods such as event tickets, parking, trains, coffee and food outlets. Also BANGO continue to refer to other payment methods they are developing with details yet to be announced Summary yes a 20 / 30 bagger is a dream but not an impossible dream | lentjes
14/7/2016 21:36 | Suppose they double the number of connections from 150 to 300 by 2020 and expenditure on apps doubles and proportion of end user spend goes from 2% to 10% that's a 20 fold increase in EUS to 2 billion pounds per annum then at 2% margin that's 40m in GP Say overheads 10m then net profit 30m gives an idea of what is realistically possible. Could easily become a billion pound company on that basis or 20 bagger from here or am I dreaming ? | amt
14/7/2016 18:40 | Interesting RNS Odey appears has increased his holding by a further 367,800 shares giving him a 11.47% holding although he it appears he has done this via a CFD I think Long or short I wonder or hedging the volatility Any one shed any light on what Odey is up to, good news or bad news for the share price ? | lentjes
14/7/2016 11:19 | As I say not key to long term master plan for BANGO but great for short term revenue Pokemon Go now live in UK, the more the merrier | lentjes
