I think this had been a dog for long enough that too many investors don't trust it beyond the last reported set of numbers - proper performance (of any share) needs belief in the future. So, it's case of letting the figures speak for themselves to enable investors to start believing beyond the figures. Also, one of the favourite games at the moment is to spot the next takeover, and this one isn't a candidate in view of what it does, and the logical domestic buyer (BAe) is probably excluded on monopoly grounds

IMO you can chase yourself around in circles doing that. My usual approach is to formulate a view, identify an entry and then set a stop. The rest takes control of itself one way or the other.

Bank of America note on Sharecast; still bullish but trimmed price target to 565. Peel Hunt upgraded to buy and new target price of 462 yesterday.

Looking further a field I would guess the silly hit job on Qinetiq has been passed over to here, which is both typical of the UK mkt and crazy. Defence stocks have a strong medium to long term future due to the massive underspend by the idiots across Europe
