Stores are still open. And they offer a wide range of goods.

How many people will go to B&M to pick up small bits of food, toiletries, dog food but also and garden and diy purchases to give them something to do whilst at home. They also own Heron foods,

yes and it is only food retailers who are faring less badly . Sadly more downside for this stock I think in this bloodbath of a market

BME is rated as a growth stock, so a 0.3% increase in LFL sales for UK over important Xmas period seen as a disappointment. However, in the current climate I think its a fair result and share price markdown today is overdone. I sold my BME shares following on from general election result in Dec at 420p, so happy to re-enter at 373p today. I'm confident it will move back to over 400p over the next couple of months as business continues to grow. Rich

Very quiet board for the volumes.

Been watching this closely as a fairly defensive option for 2020.

The drop seems slightly overdone but then the price had been rising steadily to over 400p

Yep I think there is more upside than down from here. Decisive management dealing with Germany, instead of the usual slow bleed, bodes well.

Picked up my dividend on Friday. Has anyone else been taxed at source? (Assume this is paid to Luxembourg government where B&M is registered) Dividend should have been 4.9p, actually received 4.16p.
