Have been in axon for eight years,kept adding on lows and sold a few highs,
always felt comfortable with progress.
The current situation regarding Mark Hunter,retirement,share sale possibility
is having a disproportionate effect on the share price.We now have the fear
of the unknown or as Donald Rumsfeld would say ,the unknown unknowns.Anybody
here able to get some info from the proverbial horses mouth??

citigroup target 590p stated as a "hold"
(AFX)

brokers targets cuts accross thae market so i guess AXO was going to get it sooner or later, be nice to see that 530/540p hold

it'll change.................they just want all the stock off retail..........they know the successfull companies and want to make all the money they can...............

What's getting annoying is that a lot of midcaps fall everytime the DOW or FTSE fall, but never do the reverse. The FTSE is now only about 5% off it's high, yet there are many growth midcaps that are down 30%-40%.

The price of success huh!

must say the U.S are having a great week, be interesting to see if it continues today, past few fridays have gone soft with people not willing to hold over the weekend.... lets see....

re : hunter topic.... he can't be stuck for a few qiud, so why sell now at this price when he can sit on them untill better times........unless he has an idea and wants to raise funds..... all imo..

fundamentals will win fh..............let the lemmings leave..........if the company continues to chuck out positive statements then the share price will have to rise.............

in the short term things are volatile as can be seen..........however say at worst a recession or bear markets does happen..........how long does that last 18 months, 2 years????????????...............

take a peak at the market charts for 1997...........I think I remember it being a hairy scary year.......................things recoevered quite quickly after...........

just one of those cyclical things...........one now another shakeout come 2010 maybe..............who knows........but I've balanced the portfoli accordingly..........

Bb ,interesting read.
We need clarity from M H as to what his intentions are,i bet he is pretty
gutted at the share price and will want to lift the value of his holding

Thinking aloud,perhaps this has flagged up the fact that Axon could be
up for sale.? Who would be the likely buyers,we could be in for interesting times !! Very cheap company

well there's another interesting day.............a rollercoaster............at least now the BOE is in the mood for cutting rates and this afternoon is being reported at buy on rumour sell on fact etc............

not sure how that works really when the markets went bonkers following the US cuts................

looks like we're off the bottom now............some indicators starting to turn positive.............

According to investors chronicle,the share price has crashed because
Mark Hunter may wish to dispose of the remainder of his shares and
this is creating a share overhang!!!they rate the shares fair value
until the share issue is resolved.

swings & round abouts hey, knew it would be that sort of week

ftse/dow in about middle of their ranges with traders trying to "guess" which way next, BOE rate cut today / non farm data out tomorrow (US)

think next week will be a little more predictable
+we'll have a good idea if AXO has settled then too imo

It depends who is buying and when. People sitting on a lot of cash right now.

BTW, I recomend a trip to Paris on Eurostar. Gare du Nord is a dump but, otherwise, a few days well spent.
