Biswell,
I reckon this time it`s your fantasy short as really you want to buy more,
either that or you`ve got titanium balls, the time window is closing fast.

William Poole today revealed just how hawkish is the mood within the US banking fraternity.

A 0.25% rate rise is now expected at the end of this month to be followed by another 0.5% rise in August.

Economists who were thinking the rate would be 2.25% by Dec are having to rejig their numbers, as will the US markets next week.

Meanwhile the $ continues to shine.

Yes but, BUY the rumour (paper), SELL the fact (gold). Hope is priceless.

edit. I have AVM share certificates to prove it.

hey' bis, take a cfd on $20 oil then...
in fact, i would be so bold as to say that $20 lsc won't happen again, ever..!
was the US E.Dept not the organisation that said 'can see no value in kyoto'..
i'm staggered at that $20 prediction unless they have a secret plan to flood the US market with their newly padded reserves... which no-one in their right mind would propose given the level of current and likely future global instability.
or... maybe china being the global no.2 consumer is a lie... ;))
or... maybe my oil trading buddies are all wrong.. ;))
or... maybe all the oil majors are all wrong.. ;))
or... maybe the US has a secret plan to nuke 2 billion chinese consumers...
or... maybe the US E.Dept aren't being entirely honest.. ;))
sniff sniff - yuk' the smell of lies and politics...

you truly are a mong gollum , how the frig does freddy know this , they cant predict next weeks oil price never mind next years , we wont see $20 oil again in our lifetime unless there's a worldwide depression to lessen demand China alone will keep demand high , new cars on the road growing by 50% each year not to mention the rest of the economy .plus India . US refineries are running at 100% and cant keep up with demand so you can dump as much crude there as you like they cant refine any more than they are doing now so its gasoline inventories you need to keep your eye on as the driving season gets into full swing mind you they'll probably tell us they went up when they are released when they in fact went down , all there doing now is trying to talk the price down all smoke and mirrors

Bear Stearns & Co have released a note compiled by Frederick Leuffer on US oil.

In it he says 'West Texas Intermediate crude will average $32 this year before dropping to $20 in 2005'.

US Energy Dept forecast is for an average price of $36.23 in this 3rd quarter.

If this gentleman is correct, then I guess 2005 $315 for POG based on the OIL/GOLD relationships that Ashley has introduced into the thread(not me), would seem OK
