26/5/2022 17:57 | To be expected if it happens tomorrow and good luck to those that do. Momentum is on the side of this one and the sector again I think so if it drops it wont take long to claw it back. | tuftymatt
26/5/2022 17:14 | The trend’s your friend…..who knows🤔 | beermat1
26/5/2022 16:26 | I'm thinking there's profit taking to come now. No week ends up fully positive over 5 days! | klotzak
26/5/2022 10:57 | 450 and 500 will be big hurdles, 440 will be a short blip. | rongetsrich
26/5/2022 09:16 | I wonder how many auto sells will trigger at £4.40. | wadders5

25/5/2022 10:32 | I wonder if Jim is still jubbering and porche1945 has been defanged. A different skill is needed now - know how to run your winners | eurofox
25/5/2022 10:21 | At last Aviva is getting re-rated. | cyberian

24/5/2022 14:34 | Holding 10% cash atm and looking to add to existing stocks and new when the opportunity presents. Will trim my holding here at £5. spud | spud
24/5/2022 14:11 | Only used 20% of total B Share and Dividend money. Was tempted to sell all Aviva when it hit £4.30. Crystal ball time as to which way the market will go. I just love the thought of being 100% cash on the next big dip. Currently still only 24% cash. | wadders5
24/5/2022 13:58 | Same here, until we're on a recovery path from the impending recession, i trade once a month at £1.50 per trade. Doable, and as long as I have the correct sticks I will make more than just an income in due course. | rongetsrich
24/5/2022 13:47 | Drip feeding on a continuous basis, since when the brakes eventually come off, its going to be like a coiled spring in value stocks - no opportunity to get back in in any quantity. Besides which a market full of doom and gloom seems like an ideal drip-feed target. | eurofox
24/5/2022 13:28 | Reinvesting dividends received is all I have done this month as I too remain cautious. Talk of the 500 dropping to 3500 / 3300 is commonplace where as right now it seems to not stay below 3,900 for long. Some say the big market issues may stay away until 2023 also. It's a difficult one and for me the next 6 months will present opportunities to buy on dips in quality companies if you want to hold for the mid to long term. AV. has already shown that recently so I guess the question is what will we see first 450 or 400?? | tuftymatt
24/5/2022 13:24 | Same here, I expect a mini down turn and FTSE to dip below 7000, but not to same degree as Covid chaos. Energy cost stability is key and war is playing the major part in this and food prices. Just hope we do not over-react on interest rate hikes either: There`s plenty of negative pressures in the market today | tornado12
24/5/2022 13:19 | I'm holding back. The macro environment is worrying me. Oddball lengthy orderly decline in US indices but no capitulation - yet. Is this a bear market bounce? Of course the FTSE is not in a bear market but the NASDAQ and SP500 are. Aviva's defensive properties and good divi should help protect it but if there is a US big selloff it'll still get hit. I'm not reinvesting my capital return money just yet. Sub-400p would be tempting, we'll see, it might not happen. | cassini
24/5/2022 11:40 | Yes, I'm holding back. I wanted to buy sub-400 but now looking to get seb-410. May not happen of course. | norry2
24/5/2022 11:36 | I have held off The swings lately have been big so holding some cash atm | sarahbudd
24/5/2022 11:34 | Any thoughts of sub £4 evaporated now? I could only afford a small add at 395 and used half the b share proceeds at 420. Normally a strong price would be good news :) but wondering about the timing of going in with the rest of the b share money. Anyone else holding back still? | engelbert1969 |
