Sort of says it all,

Our performance is mixed, with operating earnings per share up 2%. We have delivered strong general insurance results with a combined ratio of 95.9%. In life insurance and asset management, operating profits declined due to challenging market conditions and the absence of a longevity reserve release.

People holding on for Divi can in some cases mean taking a pasting from an adverse global stock-market drop

Such an event is IMO now playing out via the currency wars which are and have been , in full swing for about 6 months

More rate cuts from the USA now look assured IMO

Another before xmas and another in first half 2020

Yuan to drop further to keep pace

EU to drop rates very soon too IMO

A rate race to the bottom .... how low can you go

Japan is there already just about

A bit of blue on the 100 today. Hopefully seen the worst of it. Praying this little display by the Chinese will bring trump to heel. But I'm ever the optimist!

I have buy orders on at 350 and 340.
I am still in the money from early this year, not counting the dividend.
