The share price has become becalmed of late. Needs the fillip of positive news on progression at the upcoming AGM to propel it through the 200 day moving average and beyond.

Maybe I have my head in the sand but I’m happy holding and may even add a few when dividend is paid.

The whole market is down as is states now down 1.5%.

The company is well run with a reasonably predictable revenue stream.

I only wish they had a external candidate for CEO position. I think we may have the second choice running the company

Quite. Value here is good, but on a full-scale recession or pullback (which we are sort of due), these could get a lot cheaper. I hold, but am not adding...

Porsche- you'LL get your consideration back soon. You may miss out on a good profit though if you sell prematurely.

Lower share price than 2009, pathetic, poor products, poor management and the brexit sxxtshow to contend with, another ftse 100 serial terminal offender, high div capital erosion. Crxp. A pity I own 55k of them at an average 10 pc above where they are now. Im a mug. Just need a bounce to exit plz god.

The Euro elections and the bye-election will tell us much more.

I don't think so. Unfortunately.

Remain long Aviva - breakeven around 370p from memory.

The local elections were a resounding vote for none of the above, and therefore they don't tell us much about the future. The Euro elections and the bye-election will tell us much more.

And that's considering that younger demographics aren't as active in local politics. Voter turnout 20pc overall.

Except the tories lost far more councillors than Labour. What then happens if farage joins the fray and takes voters from the other end?

And the recent local election results suggest a Corbyn/Marxist led Labour have no chance of winning a General Election. I doubt whether the Lib/Dems (who should hold the balance of power), would prop them up in a coalition. Therefore,I believe Aviva shareholders need'nt be worried IMHO.

You've heard of the lady who speaks 17 languages and can't say "no" in any of them? Buywell is similar. He's been around for years and years (formerly as bidwell) and never said anything positive about any stock ever.

You know I've seen a lot of down votes on buywells posts. Unlike trade junkie who is just a straight up chartist gambler (How's that long margin bet at 420 going) but all he's doing is pointing out the big macro-economic rocks. If you really can't understand why what he's saying might affect AV. then I suggest you pack in investing in individual shares immediately and go buy some cautious funds. These are points that deserve to be raised in spite of the obvious desire for confirmation bias on these boards.

Also added a few at this price to my holding as great dividend.
