Whether it's 17k on margin or near enough 100k straight up its an interesting risk to take for such a short term target. I think interesting is the right word any way! I suspect he wanted to claim credit for predicting what is essentially noise ASAP and he's still holding.

Agree Jor, but there is lots of goodwill to the new CEO at the moment and every report I read is positive to AV at the moment after years of stagnant share price movement.

Not expecting fireworks, but should out perform the FTSE. Happy to hold, have a fairly large position here.

You cannot trust broker recommendations, they usually have a vested interest...or should that be an 'invested' interest.

Investor's chronicle re-iterate BUY Aviva. HL,of nine Broker's reommendations, no less than 7 rate Aviva a STRONG BUY (2 neutral). I'm more than happy to PIGGYBACK off all their research.
