'original base price' - par value of the bonds is $100 as I recall. So AVNL4441690 at $60 is priced to return only $60 for each $100 invested, or as Jaknife says, 60 cents in the dollar. Equity holders rank lower of course.

'Can not fond any avanti bonds on the linked site' - they're there, you need to search.

Go to the screener page

type AVNL in the Symbol / CUSIP box and hit the SHOW RESULTS button

Thanks, appreciated, but your numbers state dollars not cents. Can not fond any avanti bonds on the linked site.

I want to know the percentage difference from original base price

This type of company has struggled in the USA for years
Before buying I suggest newbes look at how they have fared

AVN is following the same pattern

Very high capital requirements and hence loads of debt

This company should do well. Not sure about its current set of shareholders though, given the 1/2 billion debt

I will LOL at you, all the way to 50p. LMAO.

There are many like Jaknife, the investor champs. They talk with hindsight.

But people with insights that make money, who can anticipate change.

He's part of of 99.99%, not special. LOL

The company has added nearly £45m contract in last 2.5 months, and the contracts are getting bigger in value.

I suppose many can't forsee forward revenue.

Jaknife

LOL !!

You missed out on a 30%. What kind of expert are you? Does making running commentary and lolling make you money?

LOL.

I suppose with ur halfwits audience, it's about cross fingers and hope for the best.
Let me guess you know how to read a balance sheet. Whoa, so does millions of people. You are no special mate.

But can you predict the future?
If you can please be kind enough to give me the euro millions numbers for tonight.

Avanti Communications announces new major government contract with Telkom Kenya

CONTRACT WIN

Avanti Communications announces new major government contract with Telkom Kenya

Providing internet connectivity to entrepreneurs across Kenya awarded by the Kenyan Ministry of ICT

Avanti Communications Group plc (“Avanti”;), a leading provider of satellite data communications services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), announces a new contract with Telkom Kenya Limited (“TKL”), to provide connectivity for the Kenyan government initiative Constituency Incubation Hubs (“CIH”). The project, awarded by the Ministry of ICT of Kenya, will see TKL install 1160 CIHs across the country using capacity on Avanti’s HYLAS 2 Ka-band satellite.

The multi-million USD contract will provide an incubation hub facility for young adults and entrepreneurs to develop their ICT skills and applications, bringing them into the digital world and enabling them to grow and start new businesses. There are a total of 290 constituencies as part of the project in Kenya, with 4 CIHs being installed per constituency. Each hub will have a VSAT system, Wi-Fi router and 40 tablet devices, provided by BRCK Kenya, which users will be able to use to connect online and discover new business opportunities. This win builds on Avanti’s iMlango primary education project in Kenya, which is supported by DFID’s Girls Education Challenge programme.

Kris Senanu, Managing Director of the Enterprise Division at Telkom Kenya, commented: “We are excited about the roll-out of this new government project with Avanti. As a strategic partner to the Kenya government’s national ICT agenda, Telkom Kenya is able to provide end-to-end solutions, tailor-made to meet a growing set of needs for the Public Sector. The CIH project is demonstrable proof of the confidence placed in Telkom Kenya by the government, through the Ministry of ICT, to realise a key connectivity milestone for Kenya.”

David Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Avanti, said: “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Telkom Kenya. The project is a great example of how our technology is positively impacting ICT development across Africa. Avanti’s proven Ka-band technology continues to consistently deliver high-speed high quality connectivity to meet the needs of the most demanding operators and governments.”
