31/1/2015 11:24 | Fact remains, he did serious damage and that does not alter because of your ill placed comments. Yorgi, Respect what you say and agree. I will not post re TW again | peterwaller395
31/1/2015 10:02 | Guys this BB is to discuss AVN, not TW so can we drop that now please. There are other BB's to discuss him. | yorgi
31/1/2015 09:54 | I agree with the previous post. Toms forte is finding companies to short. If I had shorted all the companies he recommended as winners I would have had great returns rather than huge losses. About 60% of his recommendations lost 90% of their value, a good record for shorts! | jadeticl3
30/1/2015 19:17 | Many of them worse over longer holding period. Just put TW down to a terrible experience and do my own thing now. I was also a mug in RIVP which went bust of course. More fool me but my advice to anyone thinking of contributing even 1 pence to TW is DO NOT HE CARRIES A HIGH RISK WARNING | peterwaller395

30/1/2015 18:42 | Absolutely SG31 and Estienne, Can't believe that anyone still pays for Winnefrith's rubbish. I've lost more money following him than I have with anyone else or any other system I've ever tried. John | 2350220
30/1/2015 17:59 | I first came across TW in the late 90's when he was in a TV show on share picking. In all that time I can only think of one or two stocks he correctly tipped; but a whole raft of failures come more easily to mind. Avanti was one of TW's strongest tips and he tipped it for a long while at £7. He publically raged at Simon Cawkwell for shorting it but you never know what goes on behind the scenes and it wasn't long before they were both singing from the same hymn sheet. | estienne
30/1/2015 17:44 | Bears Carried out as HYLAS 3 nonsense proven wildly wrong AVN's share price spiked 5% after ESA, as expected announced that the claptrap publsihed by Space News and regurgitated by blogosphere scumbags was all hotair | bigkahunaburger
29/1/2015 17:30 | elrico, I've "known" TW for about 7 years, before QPP existed. The figures I posted for 2011 are pre QPP. IMO his record is woeful. Please feel free to follow him but do a bit of research before you lose money. For the record I have no interest in QPP, long or short and never have had. | sg31
29/1/2015 16:09 | SG31 - Read my post again. I did not suggest AVN be a fraud, nor did I suggest anyone named in my post be claiming AVN be a fraud, Nor was I suggesting TW was 100% successful with his tips....nobody is. The companies I highlighted, however, have been bang on, good calls, call them what you will by TW & share price team. TW, EK and LM are saying AVN "balance sheet is a train wreck". I eagerly await company interims on 5 Feb. The market is about opinions, yes! And as for all the BS that followed, a lot has been fabricated by QPP holders and publish on worldpress in order to attack him because of his attack on QPP. Emotional lot they're. Apparently, Simon Cawkwell slating his buddies business.... Uhm...gullible! | elrico
28/1/2015 21:10 | I take it you aren't a fan. | sg31
27/1/2015 18:07 | How can anyone in truth say TW has called AVN correctly 100% of the time when that is demonstrably untrue? It may be true that having said one thing which was 100% wrong that he bad-mouthed those who opposed him, but then did an about-turn and agreed with those he had bad-mouthed. Having done this with all the collateral damage he caused, he was then nearer to getting it right for now. However, can anyone say this is the end of the story yet? I have a string of VERY bad calls he made. Super companies worth filling your shed with, that went out of business totally. | jadeticl3
27/1/2015 17:37 | Are you suggesting that Avanti is a fraud? | sg31
27/1/2015 16:29 | Estienne, Me thinks you are being disingenuous to TW. They may well be buddies, but they are not as you suggest. Take the time to mull over what TW and his team have done unearthing fraud at QPP and at least 4 China AIM listed frauds and dodgy share dealings at IGAS, OPTIMAL, TERN to name just a few. Had PI's listened they would have saved a lot of heartache and financial stress. Avanti may well be on TW& EK's radar, but it don't mean either are attempting to feather anyone's nest. I have been following TW closely in relation to the above and thus far have proved 100% accurate and I dare say Avanti as it is indicating, will be another called correct. In short, Avanti is drowning in debt and about to tumble. Any hope of a bid is practically NIL. | elrico
26/1/2015 17:38 | There's a surprise. Next we will probably get a story about sun spots destroying all our satellites. On second thoughts, I think we had that last year. | sg31
26/1/2015 16:01 | Hedgehog it only took a day for that story to be a load of old baloney: hxxp://www.esa.int/F N° 2–2015: ESA and Airbus to decide on the route to proceed with EDRS completion. 26 January 2015 Following intense work during the past weeks between all partners involved with the EDRS programme, in particular the European Commission, ESA and Airbus, the business prospects of EDRS have been consolidated. Based upon this consolidation, ESA fully intends to continue with the deployment of the entire EDRS programme, along with all the partners concerned, including the launch of the EDRS-C satellite. A meeting is now planned on 28 January between the two main partners, ESA and Airbus, to decide on the way to proceed with the completion of the EDRS programme. The EDRS infrastructure is made up of two space nodes and the related ground segment : The first of the two EDRS payloads (EDRS-A) will be carried on the Eutelsat-EB9B satellite, starting operations in 2015, and being built by Airbus Defense and Space. The second EDRS payload, as well as the Hylas-3 payload from Avanti Communications of London, will be flown on the EDRS-C satellite. This satellite is being built by OHB System AG of Bremen, Germany. EDRS is a strategic asset for Europe, a new space data highway to relay large volumes of data very quickly so that information from Earth-observing missions can be even more readily available. | bigkahunaburger
