these hedgefunds are getting out with quite big losses so there clearly is something happening in the background and that could be a cash offer for the company if that was the case it would be well north of the present price but this is just a guess

Nug, I got in at 200p or so and numerous time up to 500p or so, seems like a long time since the +700p hike after successful Hylas 1 launch, crazy really.

Like a lot of PI's, I thought we would see an ever increasing price from there, oh what a lesson!

I'm a long term believer but I think any recover above 700p is some way out but I've always been convinced that, once this goes, it will go quick.

My normal instinct would be to sell some due to the possibility that they will drop back but not sure on this.

20/20 hindsight, as always maybe!

Never occurred to me at the time but when the 2 players reduced their shorts (hoped they pinched!) did they raise those shares from the 3rd player with an Ennismore's increase?

Chrissy - I entered this share when the price was near £7 so £6 hardly floats my boat. They were tipped to reach £23 in those days but I am hoping to receive dividends one day and will leave the share price to my offspring. £23 in 2023 perhaps :O) but by then we'll have an implant in our neck to receive anything from anywhere no doubt? Maybe powered by Avanti? :O)

If you are from the school that believes the share price always knows something, you may well be proved right.

Interesting times, when everyone becomes a buyer in a highly illiquid share.

They will be competing with each other to get out,for starters.

The risk managers will be pacing up and down.

On current day's volume so far, it would take almost 66 days to close the shorts.

j777j could not agree more,it always seems that the market allows them to get out on the cheap,

I make that another 2,759,900 shares to be bought back that we know about and of course there were other undeclared shorts too.

Volume so far today just over 44,000.

Nugacity, why not, a bid at 600p or so is still pocket cash for Zuckerberg, I don't see AVN getting that far on it's own that quickly?

I would be happy to hold for several more years but cash is king.

FB deal could be a conundrum.
MZ needs to agree a long-term contract with AVANTI or risk that the plug is pulled at the conclusion of a short term deal and suffer loss of face (book) to those who use it.

A sensible long-term deal for both parties therefore makes sense?

I'd hate to see our advanced service develop into the host for a glorified chat-room ..... so no buy-outs please!

Guarantees coverage and therefore penetration.

Quite a USP.
