Enjoying the rise, but like others sat at a higher price. I think we got up to nearly 4.50 during the last sustained rally ? Oh well let's see where this one takes us !

At least my Spreadbets are in profit now.
It'll still be a long way to go before my shares are too.
As I imagine I'm not the only plonker who bought at such high levels, a few years ago.

Experience would suggest launching a satellite causes the share price to go in the opposite direction!

I would be surprised if there is much shorting going on now - that would be fighting the chart and a series of decent press releases. A sceptic would be better off waiting for financial news, or if brave selling into results.

Re my post of 1039,
If anyone else also happens to have an open position with Shortspreads
(I imagine I'm probably the only one), I've just called them to ask why the price shown in the Trading Platform doesn't move and therefor doesn't reflect the actual current price at the time.
They no longer have it as a tradable stock, so they don't update the price.
The telephne dealing is just for folk who want to close their position.

The representative said that IF I did want to close out, they'd give me the current spreadbet price as normal. I've left it running for now.

Well that is exactly the type of service provision that at the time Hylas 2 was launched I anticipated to be a core revenue stream. It has taken a while but price action would indicate that we are getting there.

NASA Data Systems, the enterprise communications provider, has signed a contract with Avanti Communications to extend its satellite broadband capability across the Middle East.

The new contract will provide satellite broadband to customers in the oil and gas, utilities and industrial sectors. The services will be deployed via Avanti's HYLAS 2 satellite.

Hakim Naas, Managing Director at NASA Data Systems said: "The decision to partner with Avanti was rooted in the organisation's ability to tailor flexible and high-quality service options. We have a diverse customer base that expects first class service and support, both of which will be addressed via our collaboration."

Matthew O'Connor, Chief Operating Officer at Avanti said: "We are delighted to provide our satellite services to NASA Data Systems in the Middle East. Avanti's unique technology brings the quality and flexibility required to deliver true commercial advantage to customers in the region."

So what ? You think a potential future drone based service is a threat to a running operation which can offer Service level agreements and the ability for resellers to rebrand it as per recent Turkish signing ?

I think it's great if AVN doesn't try to compete with free alternatives

I think you mean haveaparty, at least that is what I'll do if that happens. I'm still chuckling how RHPS was buying at the top and then sent out a sell recommendation only at the very bottom.

Yeah,
but for some reason my spreadbet with Shortspreads is only showing it as 268p rather than the 300p. Don't understand that, especially as the only position they offered (when I opened the bets ages ago) were the daily rollovers rather than the longer dated monthlys or quarterly bets.

Anyway, nice if it can hold this gain and then move on up.
Think I'd have aperplexy if it ever got as far as it did after Hylas 1 launch!!
