Agree, Something in the wind (or the vacuum in this case). Hope for gradual rise and then put in a precautionary short in case it goes t-ts up. Hoping for better. But they have done well coming back from the brink.

AVN are a bit small to be of interest to VOD. It's not like they can increase investment and expand the business quickly. If they want a satellite co I think they would go for one of the big ones.

We can always hope.

No info, just a hunch. Vodaphone are now flush with cash and looking for investments to enhance shareholder value. AVN have invested in satellites, but shares have under-performed due to slow capacity uptake. This leaves the shares vulnerable to a bigger company that would have the capacity to fully utilize in the fastest time. Sp has risen daily for several days in a row now even though it was a recommended short by EK. Something looks to be brewing?

Encouraging that it's broken and held above the level prevailing before the disastrous Trading Update of July 2013. Let's hope all that is behind us now and that they hit revenue targets from hereon.
