If it's like last year, IMS would be next week.

I don't think so unless they are going to issue q1 sales update which would be due any time now. Personally I think they'll update in July with early H1 figs and hopefully an update on the main market listing they're after

Paul Walsh is stepping down as CEO of Diageo at the grand age of 58. Let's hope this will give him more time for his NED role with Avanti!

Dodge Meister and sg31,

In addition to the military use of pilotless drones, this article describes the future potential use of commercial drones which are currently being test flown over UK airspace. I wonder whose is providing this satellite technology?

"The project's aim is to gain the UK a strong position in a global market that could be worth $55bn-$62bn per year by 2020, according to the University of Southampton and Teal Group, a consultancy."

Very True. I had missed that and had thought Bentley Walker was in the Eutelsat camp. If you look at the Bentley Walker web site too, they tend to avoid the use of 'Avanti' although it can be found if somewhat buried, whereas Eutelsat's Tooway brand is quite prominently used.

Thank you for putting me straight.

Still an Interesting article about the broader picture vis-à-vis Ka-band verses Ku-band spectrum usage.

There's plenty of News items on google about Bentley walker using Hylas 2 as soon as it was operational.

What's particularly interesting in the article from Satellite Today is that Bentley Walker is NOT using Eutelsat's satellites. They certainly had been an earlier partner with Eutelsat with Eutelsat's Tooway solution. So has the launch of Hylas 2 meant they've jumped ships? Can't tell from just one article, but certainly raises interesting questions.

Looking forward to the trading update.

you would think the shorts would take the option of closing out now at these price,s unless they think there,s more down side.

We seem to be 'holding station' at around the £3 mark. I'd quite like to move into a higher orbit, please!

Armed drone aircraft have been operated remotely from Britain for the first time, the Ministry of Defence has said.

It said Reaper drones had flown missions controlled from RAF Waddington,
