04/10/2012 10:33 | Bingo. It's even tempting back here to add to my long position as well as to trade. | hpcg
04/10/2012 10:19 | You can now buy sub 300, in fact several times in the last 5 minutes. Watch out! | johncsimpson
04/10/2012 10:11 | JS , What sort of volume have we got today ? | colva
04/10/2012 10:11 | Doesn't look good, but whether there is good reason behind it or not only numbers released by the BOD will we know for sure. | yorgi
04/10/2012 10:06 | Yes, now I look carefully, it hasn't quite gone sub 300 to buy so still on a knife edge. | johncsimpson
04/10/2012 10:04 | Classic 'investor psychology' says peeps will buy in now that the 300 area has arrived; so what usually happens is there will be a small 'retrace rise'. However, more often than not this soon runs out of legs and the down-trend continues. | johncsimpson
04/10/2012 10:00 | Disappointing but unless you're a day trader does it matter ? (looking at the low volume) | gekks
04/10/2012 09:55 | This is utterly ludicrous. 50 points in a few days! Just bonkers. Wish I'd closed out when whoever suggested that a break of 340 spelt trouble!! I'll never learn. John | 2350220
04/10/2012 09:55 | unbelievable share price movement on the amount of shares being traded | disc0dave
04/10/2012 09:55 | Don't be naive this isn't just shorting for the sake of it. Something nasty is lurking in the woodwork - Luxembourg? | joan of arc
04/10/2012 09:43 | Charts say this is a 'potential' bottom and it's possible to buy at sub 313 at the moment . . . should AVN fall further towards 300 and then break below then I'm afraid 250ish comes into play. | johncsimpson
04/10/2012 09:19 | Re. Hylas2 debt repayments The payments are tailored to suit the increasing revenue generated by Hylas2 (as Nightspot has pointed out) so the payments in the early years will be relatively small with the bulk of the debt being paid off in the later years, i don't have a link for this but i read it in a very comprehensive Jefferies report that came out about 2 years back . | colva
04/10/2012 08:42 | Hello colva I tried that but it's not easy. It took me ages to find the relevant bit on the debt / loan repayments in post 398 which I had stuck in the back of my memory. My background point is (i.e. where I'm coming from), that peeps shouldn't post stuff without references and the onus is on them as the poster not on me / us as the reader. | johncsimpson
04/10/2012 03:39 | Avanti have said that they would not be putting out RNS's for every contract though i'm sure they would if it was a large gamechanger , i don't have a link to the info but if you read through their RNS's i'm sure you'll find it. | colva
03/10/2012 19:13 | Nugacity 3 Oct'12 - 16:48 - 410 of 410 Somebody mentioned AVN no longer drip feed new contracts and do it quarterly. . . . . -------------------- Who and where did they get their information from?? If it's just an unsubstantiated 'rumour' then it's of no value. | johncsimpson
03/10/2012 17:01 | I thought we were due news this week. Must be due soon. | plasybryn
03/10/2012 16:52 | Didn't quite catch any today, hoping for nervous nellies to drop their pants first thing in the morning. | hpcg
03/10/2012 16:48 | Somebody mentioned AVN no longer drip feed new contracts and do it quarterly. I hope the jug is a half gallon jug and it will be half full once they release the new contracts. The long lead time could be ideal for our salesmen and surely they have prepared some sort of playing field before embarking on a project like this? Roll on that RNS .... | nugacity
03/10/2012 15:59 | Last 30 mins or so of the day. Clues as to whether this is going to fall further (than the 315 the charts predicted this morning - (see post 400) will emerge . . . | johncsimpson
03/10/2012 14:58 | Smythy3, Nugacity, thanks. | gnnmartin
03/10/2012 13:54 | ...and back down it drops haha! | disc0dave
03/10/2012 13:53 | Did a tiny top-up just after NugaCity's post about the buys coming in. Just £1,250 (£3.24) to test it but it's had a nice (albeit small) bounce since. A friend of mine also mentioned he bought some @£3.27 so let's hope things do improve... | disc0dave
03/10/2012 13:44 | Not often I want to see a big spread but today is the day. 5p currently , roll on 16p. 326/331 | nugacity
03/10/2012 13:25 | Picked up another load today as at this price they are a steal and there is no reason to worry as all is ticking along nicely Revenues of £17.8 million for the year and I would expect that to be markedly high now | martincoops |
